Lucky to find such a great childminder!

I'm so pleased to have found such an excellent childminder. The time spent there is so enriching for my 11 month yr old son. He certainly seems to be accelerating towards his milestones recently, and I put this down to the stimulating environment and encouragement that Cheryl provides. As a first time mum, she has been a great resource for advice for me. As well as having lots of experience, I think she also has a great instinct with children.
She has many brilliant ideas to keep babies interested, it's seems there is something new everyday! I'm so pleased he gets the chance to paint, play outside and play with a huge variety of toys. The meals provided are always nutritious and varied.
Cheryl is always very professional, caring and thoughtful. I highly recommend her!

Better than Mary Poppins

I cannot say enough good things about Cheryl. Cheryl has been an absolute Godsend and an incredible nanny to our daughter who has just turned 4 years old. The only reason our time with Cheryl has ended is because we have to move away from Plymouth for my husband's job.

Cheryl started with us when I went back to work after maternity leave. My DD was born prematurely, and so I was understandably nervous about leaving her. Cheryl visited us several times before starting and absolutely blossomed when she was with DD, and I immediately felt comfortable trusting DD into her care. Cheryl has a natural affinity for children of all ages and abilities, has a gentle and fun approach, and has supported us in our parenting styles. As a result, the three children Cheryl looks after are polite, respectful and full of the joys of learning new things. We have a saying in our house: "if something good has happened, it's probably because of Cheryl!".

DD has the best time on Cheryl days - they are always doing fun activities, e.g. going to the beach, the moors, parks, swimming, craft sessions, baking, toddler groups and regular trips to the library. DD gets to meet and socialise with other children but also has the security of Cheryl being her 'safe' person when out and about. She has learnt so much about the world around her, but also about numbers and letters, just by having fun.

Cheryl is one of the most responsible, trustworthy, dedicated, caring and organised people I know - all attributes for an excellent nanny/childminder. I highly recommend her.
