They go above and beyond the childminder threshold! Their set up is very similar to a nursery’s, they have a wide range of toys, from dinosaur’s and babies, to trains and puzzles. All of which have their own separate toy box. Angie and Harriet encourage the children in their care to tidy up the toys they were playing with before starting something new. This alone is a massive life skill in which they introduce into your childs life. They have a lovely bit of garden which is sectioned off for the children, here they can feed the birds, play with water and explore the great outdoors. They have facilities dedicated to meal times, a table in their conservatory for the children to eat their lunch/dinner, this ensures they experience that eating is separate to their play/learning time. My 2 yr has been coming here for just over half a year and by god he’s come on leaps and bounds, when he started in September 2023 he was apparently quite behind his age, however, coming here has allowed him to interact with children of different ages and has taught him many things, from tyding up, to knowing when he’s had a poo! Angie and Harriet don’t just look after your child, they teach them!

Thank You for your review Channon 🌻
Our eldest absolutely adores Angie & Harriet. They have a fantastic setting with lots of toys, outdoor space and crafting activities. Our little one's confidence has come on leaps and bounds since she joined Angie, as well as her speech and coordination. It's such a nurturing environment that even when she's having a sensitive day (having a new sister can be a lot to process) we still have no worries about dropping her off to Angie & Harriet because we know she'll be welcomed at the door with a big cuddle and we will have a message and some pictures showing a very contented little girl in no time. Angie keeps us up to date with goings on and little milestones with a book that we write in, and our little one loves to tell us about what she's been up to, like caring for the tortoises or having a dance party!
Angie & Harriet are communicative, transparent and flexible - and really importantly right now - take the wellness and health of the kids really seriously. We're so happy with Angie & Harriet that when our eldest starts preschool, our then 7 month old will join their setting - I know she will safe, cared for and stimulated there too.

Angie & Harriet offer a lovely family setting within their home, not only did my boys love being with Angie & Harriet they felt like extended family members.
The kindness & care my boys got was exceptional, they learnt so much within the years of being with them.
I would highly recommend them both ♥️

Thank you so much, we loved having the boys and even though they have moved onto school, it's lovely to keep in touch xx
Had a lovely experience with Angie, can’t recommend her enough. My son went to Angie’s setting from 8 months until 4 years old. He is now at school but goes back to Angie in holidays. My son has complex health needs which Angie helped us with from day one, I felt so confident leaving him in her setting and Angie was always communicative and helpful. My son wouldn’t even look back when I dropped him off, happy to go in and play straight away. My son has additional needs too and Angie helped his development on this front too. As a mum who has dealt with a lot of stress and anxiety in the last few years, I can safely say finding Angie was a blessing. We miss you but count down to holidays!!

My son absolutely loves going to Angie’s and Harriet’s. He always comes home with a smile on his face. He’s speech has come on leaps and bounds since he started a few months ago and has made friends there, he’s only 2 and has so much to tell me about when he gets home.
He’s always coming home with pieces of art work and best of all I love that he comes home clean and tidy.
I can confidently say I have no worries about him when he’s there, I know he is in good hands.
Throughout the day Angie sends me pictures of activities he’s been up too and any updates I need to know.
Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a childminder!

I moved my daughter to Angie and Harriet after being unhappy with the care she was provided at her previous childminder. Angie and Harriet have been amazing! My daughter has settled in so quickly! The approach Angie takes is so nurturing, caring, and kind! It’s such a family setting which is what I wanted for my daughter! My daughter loves going and practically skips in each day! She talks about Angie all the time and her new friends! I feel so relieved after having a negative experience before and so happy about the care my daughter is now receiving! It makes leaving her to go to work so much easier as I know how happy she is! Angie always sends me pictures and updates about how my daughter is doing!

Angie and her daughter Harriet have been looking after my two children for the last two years. They are now 3 and 5 and still love going. I was very nervous about my youngest child in particular starting childcare at 15 months, but she quickly settled. Both of my kids love going to play there. Angie has a big range of toys for all ages, including two playrooms, one with a chill out area if the kids need a bit of quiet time / a nap. I visited Angie's home for a trial session before my kids started and really liked the layout. Everything was very clean and tidy. Angie has pets but they are not allowed into the children's play areas. Angie has a really nice back garden with lots of toys for all ages. Angie is good at communicating with us any concerns, including passing on messages from school / nursery. She is always quick to let us know about any sign of possible illness. She is also very flexible with pick up / drop off times, which has been so helpful, as both myself and my partner work. The kids love going to play there and have made lots of little friends. Thank you! x

Thank you Beth, we love having the children, they are always so happy to join in everything we do xx
Horrible service, very fast on charging a full day rates like a nursery with none of the benefits. No matter the hours your child attends, but not actually doing the job.
Expect to supply every single item including milk your child needs for the day and nothing but the rubbish used to be returned, and the items not used to also not be returned.
No feedback at all in regards to meals, sleep, development - having to constantly ask. Zero effort put into the kids, kids just sit around and play with toys all day. Our daughter somehow learned to love sitting in a high chair as a safe space. This isn't as expected as we were shown a whole ofstead confirmed program where our child would be developed. After 3 months we queried where this was but apparently it takes 3 months to "settle in" but no documentation of the process at all.
After I gave my one month notice, I was actually afraid to leave my child there, she was slamming the door in my face when I was picking her up. In the end, I paid for the month, but didn't bring my daughter in. That's how bad it was. I would recommend to search elsewhere if you want someone who actually likes children to take care of your child.

On response to this review I have contacted a solicitor .
My little baby boy has been with Angie and Harriet since he was 9 months and sadly be leaving because of our circumstances. Angie and Harriet provided amazing care and a loving environment for our boy and he settled amazingly well in a very short time. My baby boy was always giving his massive smile to both Angie and Harriet whenever he was dropped and I was assured that he was getting amazing care from them and we are really sad to leave.
If you are looking for a childminder who can offer a good care for your child, I cannot recommend both Angie and Harriet enough. Both me and my boy will miss you!

My little girl has been with Angie & Harriet for a while now, but due to a change in circumstances for us she will sadly be leaving next month. I was nervous returning to work when my daughter was 9 months, but Angie and Harriet made it very stress free and my little one settled amazingly. She adores them both and is full of smiles and open arms when dropping her off, we've also even had some tears as she didn't want to leave! It makes my working days a lot easier to know that my little girl is relaxed and happy when she is there
Angie has been very flexible with helping me ease back into working, always willing to offer a helping hand where needed
My little one was very nervous around other children, but now I hear that she has made friends and plays well all day! She has become such a confident little character, and that has a lot to do with the happy and encouraging environment that Angie has given her while she is there.
I cannot recommend both Angie & Harriet enough, both me and P will miss you both! We hope to be able to still pop round for play dates and keep in touch with both of you lovely ladies

Angie childminded my daughter from age 1 for two years. As she was my first child I was naturally a little nervous about leaving her with a "stranger" but as soon as I first visited Angie I felt she was absolutely the right person. Angie is an incredibly warm and lovely lady, and the children in her care were so well mannered it spoke volumes about the service she provides. They always made sure the kids had some fresh air or had got up to something fun during the day. My daughter got so much out of her time with Angie.
Angie and Harriet were very flexible with my working hours and I always felt 100% confident leaving her. Angie always opened the door with a smile and provided a diary of what my daughter had been up to, which was lovely to read. Angie was also a huge help with keeping consistent with me during the potty training phase!
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Angie and Harriet to anyone looking for outstanding childcare in a warm, family environment. It is with regret I cannot use them for my son's childcare due to living too far away now, otherwise I wouldn't even need to think about who to call!

Hi Caroline,
Thank you for taking the time to write us both a wonderful review. It's really appreciated, and don't forget your welcome to visit anytime so the children can all meet up and have a play day.
Angie and Harriet xx
My little boy has been with Angie since he had just turned one from the first meeting with Angie we felt we were making the right decision by our little guy.
The first morning I left him I was very nervous but within an hour Angie had sent me a photo of my smiley little boy who looked so happy so I knew he was happy.
The children in Angie and Harriets care is first class and all the children love them and are made to feel part of The family. My little boys flourished both educationally and in all areas of his little character, he made lots of friends whilst there too (he has been there nearly 3 years).
The only reason we have had to say goodbye to Angie and Harriet (which was a very hard decision to make) is because our little guy is starting nursery out of the area. We know he will miss them both and their family, as well as us as presents will miss them too.
Thank You Angie and Harriet we will miss you but will keep in contact for play dates xxx

Angie has been our childminder for the last four years looking after my daughter and then my son as well for the last year.
When I first met Angie I knew she was the type of person I wanted to care for my children - caring but confident and no nonsense. She has not let me down.
About two years ago Harriet ("Hat" to the kids), Angie's youngest daughter, joined her in caring for the children and we have seen how competent and popular with the children she is too.
Angie has always responded well to our requests - for example managing when naps should or shouldn't be dropped; helping with potty training and has gone out of her way to pick up our daughter, who is at a different school to the other children in Angie's setting.
We are leaving Angie for practical reasons only (because she will no longer be able to do the school pick-up once my daughter is out of nursery.) We will miss her and Harriet greatly - but perhaps the best proof of her skills is that my children will really miss her too.

My 18 month old Son, Albert, has been attending Angie and Harriet's childminding service since March 2013 and he loves every minute he is there. He has always been a very outgoing and caring child with an inquisitive nature, but these social and emotional skills have been built upon through attending this group.
The daily routines and activities challenge and develop Albert socially, emotionally and cognitively supporting his development into a lovely and happy little chap.
At Angie and Harriet's there is a caring environment that allows Albert to play and grow happily and safely. Any requests made by myself or my husband with regards to routine, activities, diet or even health issues, are taken on board and respected.
With neither myself nor my husband having family in the area, it is also very reassuring that we can, and have turned to Angie and Harriet for support at times when I have been taken ill.
The nurturing nature of both Angie and Harriet, combined with their friendly yet professional approach, really does make for an ideal environment for a little person to be looked after. We definitely have no complaints and won't think twice about sending our new arrival to the group.
