My little boy comes to Alex 3 days a week, and I can’t rate her and the setting highly enough. He loves going, the activities are varied and age appropriate, every month she introduces a new book that the children read and learn about and Alex is so engaging with them. He’s learnt so much in the time he’s with her, even writing his name for the first time there! She supported with potty training and is super flexible with us. He loves the days out, to the seaside, library, park and to the various playgroups in the area. I love the small setting he is in, Alex is really caring and it’s like his second home. I’ll be so sad when he goes to school, but I’ll be forever thankful that we found her and gave our son the best preschool care out there.

Alex has been fantastic in helping my baby integrate. My little girl first started at 8 months, she had previously not been left with anyone other than family and was very attached to me. Alex put a plan in place starting at an hour a couple of times a week, to increase an hour each week. Alex has been perfect in offering a home from home environment, helping my little girl settle and we love the photos and updates of her day ❤

My daughter has been going to Alex since January 2020. She absolutely loves going and I know that she is very well cared for. Alex provides a variety of indoor and outdoor activities to stimulate and help her development. Alex also takes them on days out with no extra cost. She provides a variety of healthy balanced meals and snacks. I also receive a daily diary of what she has been up to and a quarterly report about her development which I find very helpful. She has been great throughout the Coronavirus pandemic, providing care at short notice when I needed to work. Alex provides a warm and caring environment for my child and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a childminder.

My daughter (now 9 months) has been with Alex now since she was 4 months. She started off with a couple of hours a day a few days a week and has gradually increased as I’ve gone back to work. Alex has been really reliable and flexible and my daughter really seems to enjoy herself.. when I collect her Alex always updates me with anything I need to know and anything she wants to share with me and this is followed up with a message and photos later on in the day (those photos are too cute)!! I must also add that anyone who (usually like me!) avoids a childminder with pets is not to worry.. Alex’s little dog is the cutest most chilled out little dog and I have absolutely no worries there, I would normally avoid at all costs but I am not worried in the slightest and am more than happy for my daughter to be around her. Alex genuinely cares about the children in her care and doesn’t just do it as a job, I would definitely recommend.

I was returning to work following maternity leave having never used a childminder before. I needed flexible childcare for my 9 month old son!
I was very impressed with Alex from day one, with her outlined policies and time table offering a structured day! We have never looked back my son absolutely loves spending his day with Alex, she gives him a variety of activities during the day plus offers days out all at no extra cost!
He eats a variety of meals/snacks all of which are healthy and well balanced.
I know he is in a very safe and caring environment and can not fault Alex on any level! We are extremely happy with her and her care!
Even at very short notice she has done all she can to accommodate us. Would highly recommend x
