Sam is amazing, she is so accommodating and offers me some flexibility which is so hard to find with other childminders.
My daughter started attending just before she was 1 years older and has developed amazing social skills since attending and being around Sam, her family and all the other children. Florence is always reaching at the door when I drop her off, she can’t wait to cuddle Sam… and see Maisie the dog.
Sam keeps me updated all day with photos of what she’s up to, what she’s had for lunch and any naps she’s had.
Florence often comes home with drawings or cards she’s made for her family, like fathers and mothers days cards, which is always lovely to see and receive.
We are so glad we found Sam and her family.

Thank you so much. I'm always ready for a Florence cuddle, they are the best!
Going back to work from maternity leave and deciding where to place my little girl was an important decision for me.
Finding Sam was a godsend. From the minute I met her and her lovely family I knew she was perfect to take care of my little girl.
I receive regular updates throughout the day of activities that have been done that day.
Isla loves her time at Sam’s with all the family, children and furry friends.
I cannot ask for any more out of a childminder. If you are looking for the best then Sam is that and so much more.
Thank you for everything Sam, I am so happy we found you!

It was last summer that I was looking for childcare for my little boy. And as a family we wanted him to have the same love and laughter that we have in our home.
The wonderful and fantastic Sam contacted me through childcare.co.uk offering a place, if we’d like to come for a trial.
That was now 9 months ago, and it feels like we’ve known Sam a lifetime.
Sam is so in sync with my little boys needs, wants, likes, dislikes, knowing when he is ready to try something new, introducing him to many new experiences and teaching him how to be independent.
He’s also met so many wonderful friends, both children and fluffy ones.
He’s completely settled and happy with Sam and her fabulous family.
I don’t know what we’d do without our Sam, she really has become apart of our family.
WE LOVE SAM!

Sam is absolutely wonderful. I am so glad I found her!
After an absolutely horrendous experience with another childminder who basically could not be bothered with my son, made me doubt myself as a parent and was to be honest the most unprofessional person I have ever come across; Sam came into our lives and I cannot thank her enough.
My son is the happiest little boy with her and I am so thankful that she has took him under her wing and shown him that he can be happy away from Mummy!
She sends us regular updates, gives him healthy meals and treats and basically is the best. My son loves her and her family to pieces... as do I!

Couldn't ask for a better place then with Sam and her family. They helped me with having my son Connor when I had to go back to work. Tried a few places but I didn't feel comfortable leaving him with them. Then I saw Sam and felt so at ease. Such a lovely place and Connor has made many friends with the other children there.
She's always keeping me update throughout the day with what he's been doing. The range of food she makes for him is amazing 😍 there is always a good variety on his plate with lots of colours too.
Not only do they play inside but she's got a lovely garden with plenty to do aswel, and even some fluffy family members too 🐰
Also they have play dates at the park, toddler meetings and baby yoga. So he's become a confident little man and had picked up talking and walking quickly.
I don't drive but the Spondon Flyer bus is great as it stops right outs the house. There's always the Ilkeston Flyer too that is just a 10min walk from Sam's house to the village

I was so lucky to get a place for our son with Sam . She is just the BEST. Thomas loves every second with her whether it was playing in the sand , going on adventure walks or going to a play group ( yoga , dance all sorts ) couldn’t have wished for anything better for my little boy . She is caring and loving and honestly will become part of the family . Thank you from the bottom of my heart you gave my son happiness and confidence xx

Sam is absolutely wonderful. She was the first ( and last!) child minder we went to visit when we were looking for someone to look after our little girl. As soon as we met her we knew she was the right person. She’s very gentle, kind and absolutely amazing with children. I get regular updates and photos throughout the day showing what they are doing which is great! Sam provides lots of fun activities and my daughter is always very happy when I pick her up. I can’t recommend Sam enough and we are blessed to have her in our lives. Thank you x

After a really bad experience with another childcare provider, who said that our baby was too busy to handle we were scared. We were worried that our 7 months old girl was too much trouble. We were in a very bad situation as we had to find a childminder quick.
Luckily Sam appeared to rescue. We realized from the first minute of our visit that Sam is the best childminder you can imagine. We have seen her interact not only with our little girl and other children in her care but also her own children and we have never heard her talk to them in any other way than really supportive and really politely.
She is always enthusiastic and positive. She keeps us updated on a regular basis of what activities they are doing. Sam even managed to start some Spanish rhyme time as I am from Barcelona and talk to our daughter in spanish.
We can tell that our daughter loves it there because she is always happy to go with sam and never in a rush to leave.
We would recomend Sam to anyone as we belive that she is an amazing childminder and better person.

How lovely. Thank you so much. We are all so pleased that you found us, your little girl is amazing and we all adore her!
We have been fortunate enough to find Sam Fisher to look after our son Noah for 2 days a week.
We had 2 or 3 childminders to meet before we made a decision of who we should ask to look after our little man. After meeting Sam ( the 1st person we saw) there was little point in seeing the others as our minds had pretty much been made up.
She is a wonderful, kind, engaging childminder who Noah loves spending time with. She updates his diary daily with what he has been doing and his reactions to things and circumstances. She also sends us pics on whatsapp of him during the day. They regularly go on outings and have a variety of activities. We honestly couldn't have wished to pick a better childminder. If I could rate 6 stars, I would.

Sam is Amazing! When we first met Sam and her family we were made to feel extremely welcome by everyone, including the rabbits! We were so impressed, we instantly felt like we didn't have to visit any other childminder.
Sam provides our daughter with a fun and emotionally rewarding environment where we have no doubt that she receives the love and care we ourselves would give her on a daily basis. From the daily photo updates we get via text, the daily diary and the monthly newsletter emails, we feel that we are adequately informed of Harper's day to day activities and routine. If you are looking for someone who will treat your child as the unique individual that they are, then look no further! Sam it is an absolute pleasure to have you in our child's life :)
