My daughter started with Syeda when she was 13 months old. This is our first time using a childminder and Syeda immediately put me at ease. She is incredibly friendly, approachable and her setting is extremely clean, well equipped and ideally set up for children.
Syeda took time to understand my daughter's likes/dislikes and adjusted her settling in period to make it as smooth as possible for her which we really appreciated.
My daughter looks forward to going to Syeda and is excited to spend the day there. Syeda has provided a very warm and caring environment for my daughter and she has developed so much in confidence and skills since starting childcare with Syeda and I put this down to her nurturing environment.
Syeda provides me with a daily update of activities, nappies, food and naps which I find really helpful. My daughter has expanded her range of foods since attending Syeda's setting and the food provided is nutritious and healthy.
Syeda also takes her out on various outings to the library, playgroup and park which my daughter really enjoys.
Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend Syeda. She is an outstanding childminder and she takes a truly joint approach with parents in ensuring the children under her care have the best experience and growth.

Thank you very much for your kind review, I really appreciate it. It’s always a pleasure caring for your daughter.
Our daughter was at Syeda's setting from when she was 17 months until 3 and a half years. Since the beginning she settled incredibly well and absolutely loved being there. Syeda is an incredible childminder, very calm and confident; the children do many lovely activities during the day and often went to the park or the library. The food provided was delicious and healthy and helped my daughter expand the range of flavours and food she'd eat. It's been great to always feel my daughter was in a very safe, happy, loving and enriching environment.
We all miss Syeda and her lovely family.

My daughter attended Syeda's setting from 10months to three and a 1/2 years and settled in quickly. I always felt completely relaxed about her enjoying herself and being really well looked after. Right from the first meeting, I saw that Syeda was wonderful with the children, with a really calm and secure manner.
Syeda's setting is comfortable and welcoming, and the children are made to feel part of the family.
Syeda's food was excellent, healthy and varied, and really encouraged my daughter to develop a broad appetite.
They did loads of educational play and varied activities, which helped my daughter with letters and numbers among other things, were taken out to the park and indoor play settings often, and generally had a great time with all Syeda's wonderful toys, books and costumes.
Syeda maintained daily, detailed communication with the parents, which I really appreciated. She has encouraged close friendships between the children, and hosted the parents together occasionally too (with amazing food!).
We all really miss her now that she's moved away and I am sad that my second child won't benefit from her wonderful care!

My daughter settled in with Syeda straight away when she joined as an almost 1 year old. She stayed in her setting until she was 3 1/2 years and was always happy to go. Syeda was happy to adjust routines to support my daughter and was always willing to listen and try new ways to make things work. She cooks delicious food, with a great variety and caters well to allergies. Syeda provides detailed daily feedback and would also send photos of what my daughter had been doing. Syeda's whole family welcomed my daughter into their home and we were very lucky to have her look after our daughter.

She went on to stay in Syeda's setting until she was 3 and a half and it was hard to leave!
The setting is a wonderful home-like setting and Syeda provides everything you would want in terms of activities, nourishing food and learning. Our daughter made great friends of different ages and often talked of Syeda and her family as if they were her own.
I would thoroughly recommend Syeda's setting to anybody looking for a Childminder in the area.

Our son Josh started with Syeda when he was 1 year old and flourished there. It's a warm, caring environment for children. She provided excellent care and his vocabulary, movement and general development came on in leaps and bounds. He loved going there and we had no trouble with settling him in her setting. Syeda provided a wide range of engaging activities every day, with lots of garden play, and the children seemed to be enjoying themselves when we went to pick him up.
The food Syeda provided was exceptional, and catered for specific dietary requirements - Josh started eating lots of foods he wouldn't try before. She's very sensitive to allergies and provides specific food if required.
Syeda provided lots of feedback on Josh's development, and excellent communication with us at all times. All in all we would highly recommend Syeda and her setting.

Syeda has looked after our son, Felix, for over a year now, and we could not be happier with the love and care that he has received from her and her family.
Felix settled in very quickly, due to Syeda's gentle and warm approach and welcoming home from home environment that she has lovingly created. Syeda takes real pride in her job, and works hard to ensure the children are kept busy and engaged; be it learning about the body, messy play with sand and water, baking, creating artwork and cards, free play etc.
Syeda is ambitious and aims to achieve the highest standards in care and education appropriate to this age group. She sets clear expectations of how the children should treat each other and we've been very impressed at how good Felix has become at sharing and waiting his turn etc since being there. His manners are also improving! She also encourages them to be responsible, tidying up at the end of the day for example.
The children always seem to be having lots of fun, and whenever I arrive to pick Felix up the house is always filled with laughter. Felix really loves it there and often talks about Syeda, her family and the other children.
Syeda cooks a delicious variety of home cooked meals every day and shares my interests in healthy eating, which was important for me when looking for a childminder for Felix. She is also great at accommodating for Felix's vegetarian diet, which we really appreciate.
Syeda is very good at communicating with the parents on the progress of the children and each day writes down information on what they have eaten, their nap time, nappy info, what they've been up to and any other information that she feels would be useful for the parents to know, including any concerns she may have. In addition to all of this, she puts on parties at special occasions and invites all the parents so that they can get to know one another which is great (again, more delicious food provided!).
We wouldn't hesitate in recommending Syeda and really feel she is one of a kind.

Our boisterous toddler- Joshua- started with Syeda at around 1 year old. He had previously been at nursery but we felt a home environment would be more suitable for him. We have been very happy with the care he has received since then.
Syeda is firm but gentle and provides structured activities . These include activities such as messy play, drawing, reading, toys in the garden and some outings. We receive written feedback regarding these, how he has slept etc on a daily basis. She does a range of homecooked food, which Joshua seems to enjoy.
Joshua enjoys spending time in her home, has become part of Syeda's family- frequently referring to her, her husband and daughter when not there. He has made friends also with the other children who are of different ages. He has grown in confidence since starting, his language has developed and we feel that he has become better at sharing and interacting with other children.

Our daughter was looked after by Syeda for a year (from 18mths-2.5years old) after which time we moved house and the distance was too far to travel. We had desperately wanted to keep our place with Syeda as the care she has provided our daughter has been exceptional.
Syeda has an outstanding childcare setting in her home and every day seems to have gone to extraordinary efforts to provide a range of engaging activities - looking for bugs, messy play, sensory play, reading stories, playing music, sorting games, water play in the garden. She prempted the distress at being 'dropped off' and a parent leaving by preparing distractions and a warm and inviting environment.
She regularly takes the children out on trips to local activities such as the toy library, playgroup, music sessions, sports day and a local farm.
She prepares all her own food and our daughter has been introduced to a new array of freshly cooked foods for lunch which she devours. Syeda also provides healthy snacks and a good breakfast.
We always have clear written, visual and verbal feedback from Syeda about our daughter's development day-to-day and over the time she has been with her. Furthermore Syeda goes out of her way to engage all the children and their families in her care by hosting parties at her home at Christmas and in the Summer, plus a trip for everyone to a local firestation.
We are always confident that our daughter has eaten well, played happily with other children and her time with Syeda is loving and enriching. In fact, when asked who her best friend is, our daughter most often says 'Syeda' (closely followed by Syeda's husband and daughter)!
We are so sad to leave Syeda. She is warm, affectionate and playful and she enriches our daughter's life as well as our own.
I cannot recommend her highly enough.

My family and I have been very fortunate to meet with out Child minder Syeda. My son Lewis has had the best care any parent would hope for. Syeda has been the best child minder in the world. As soon Lewis was settled with Syeda, as working parents we have never looked back. Lewis grew attached to Syeda everyday. He has developed a fondness that still makes me smile to this day.
My husband and I have been very fortunate through out the years Lewis has spend with Syeda. She has provided him with lots love and care. She was extremely attentive to his needs.
Syeda never failed to meet Lewis 's emotional and physical needs. She has provided him with many opportunities to flourish whilst in her care.
Her entire family grew to love Lewis as if he was one of them. Lewis has learned to care for Syeda and her family. We have recommended Syeda to other parents with great success. Lewis has been with Syeda since Sep 2009 to this day. Lewis will be starting reception class in September 2012 . We will still require Syeda's care to drop and pick up our Lewis to and from school.
Lewis never fails to pick up a souvenir for Syeda every time we go on holidays !!!
