Caz and her husband have been fantastic settling my daughter into their home setting with their family. They helped her have a smooth settling in period and she seems very content there. Caz sends pictures and updates daily, including a summary of the activities, food/milk and naps. She always responds quickly to any questions and gives friendly, helpful advice being an experienced childminder and parent. We feel lucky to have Caz looking after our daughter, and reassured she's well looked after and cared for.

I felt very nervous about leaving my boy in someone else’s care. He was 10 months when he started and Caz made me feel really comfortable. He’s come on leaps and bounds since staring. Really recommend.

Caz has been looking after my 5 and 6 year old boys for well over a year now, through half terms and holidays, since my work increased, she has been so adaptive and has been amazing as they transitioned from after school care for the first time. They enjoy going to hers after school, they pick up from the school and ensure they are happy, kept awake (Bonus) and given snacks and allow them to have fun! Always takes them out on walks in the local woods and they have a very good relationship with Caz own children who are equally fantastic with them. She really has helped with the smooth transition of working longer days from my children and kept them happy in the process.
Also she has been fantastic for an always amending freelancer and has happily moved things around to fit my boys in!

Our son has been going to Caroline for 4 months and has settled really well. He loves his days with her and takes part in lots of different activities often following a theme, including crafts and sensory play. The communication is fantastic - we get updates at the end of each day and weekly observations. It’s lovely to receive photos during the day to see what he’s up to. They spend a lot of time outside in the setting, going on nature walks, lots of singing and dancing, and he’s also learning skills like sign language. Caroline is a wonderful childminder and it’s clear to see she truly cares for the children.

From the second we met Caz and saw her setting it was clear she’s incredibly passionate about her job. Our son (18months) goes to Caz with welcome arms, always comes home having learnt something new and we are kept updated throughout the day. Parents needs are listened to and communication is great. A fun environment mixed with plenty of play, lovely woodland walks, nature & sign language … even our once Velcro Covid baby requests half term play dates. A real home from home.

My son has been going to Caroline since February 2024 and she and Louise has been absolutely amazing with him.
They provide amazing care for my son, they are very patient and my son loves going there.
Her setting is beautiful and clean.

Caroline and Louise have provided pick up and after school care for our little boy. They are both caring and always good about feeding back anything that has happened or needed to be shared about his day. Caroline is very responsive to queries and regularly sends updates and useful information.

Our daughter has been going to Rugrats since April and we cannot be happier with the setting. Caz and Louise are lovely. Our daughter loves her time there. She settled in quickly and has been coming on leaps and bounds with her development. The setting is like a home from home. Very warm and welcoming.

Caroline and her team are all welcoming and caring. My children attend after-school and in holidays. They always have so much to tell me about their time there and look forward to going.
I get updates about what they are doing and I am always relaxed when they are there, knowing they are well looked after and having fun.
It is a nurturing environment and would recommend to all.

Caroline and her staff provide a level of care that provides parents with utter reassurance. As a parent we are so worried about what actually happens with our precious little people. I've spent first hand time watching how my child and others are nurtured and stimulated and it is just lovely.
This is a professional setting but on a scale that mitigates children becoming lost amongst the throng. There is so much one on one work with the children which I've seen reflected in the overall wellbeing of my son.
Additionally Caroline herself is such a sweet and friendly person as is her delightful colleague Louise.
When it comes to our children, I am reserved about any recommendations but in this case I have no reservations. This is a wonderful find and my family is lucky to have made this discovery!

My son has been going to Caroline's 5 days / week since he was 1 years old. Caroline, her team and her family have welcomed him like one of their own and I couldn't be more grateful for having the peace of mind knowing he's happy and being well looked after. He's developed so much since he's been going and he clearly loves it as barely looks back when I drop him off !

My little boy has been with Caroline since 2023 and he has come on leaps and bounds. Caroline and her team have helped him be more confident while providing great care, to the point that my son will just walk in and doesn't even say bye to me!
I was nervous at first to see how he would get on, and it is amazing how comfortable he is there. It's like a second home now.
Caroline is very good at responding and keeping you up to date with what's gone on through the day and photos, which is very lovely!
110% recommend her to anyone!

My son Daniel (5 - who is now in primary), has been with Caroline at Rugrats, pretty much since they first open. I was very excited and hesitant to send him at first due to bad experiences with other nurseries in the past, but Caroline and her team had reassured me that he would be fine and he was, he fitted in like a piece of their furniture from day 1.
I remember his taster day, he walked in as if he belong there and he has thrived so much since attending. He has a speech delay due to covid, as he didn’t socialise much, but since attending he has definitely reached and achieved many milestones in such a short period of time. They helped him in so many ways, that I’m ever so grateful for. I had struggled to find ways to help him. He has turned into a sweet nurturing, little boy that loves numbers, singing, dancing and has a heart of gold towards all his friends but especially to the younger ‘baby’ peers. He helps look after them.
He used to attend 2-3 days per week whilst attending nursery but since his in school, he attends after school or during holiday periods.
I’ve never seen a childcare with so many enriching opportunities, different activities daily, walks, woodlands, outdoor, different indoor activities and a very safe and secure garden!
Caroline is fabulous, she will keep in touch you throughout the day whilst your child is with her. There’s always lots of different stuff she will send you, keep you updated!
I would recommend Caroline and her team to anyone I know that requires childcare!

My son has been going to Caroline now just 2 days a week for around 4 months and he has come so so far . Since going to hers his speech has come on really well & he plays better with other children & is learning so many new things . Zane loves going , as he has lots of fun whilst also learning new things . She also keeps in contact throughout the day on what Zanes getting up to & then gives me a message the end of each day explaining in more detail what he’s been doing , how much he’s drunk etc . Caroline is an incredible child minder & would highly recommend to everyone .

I couldn't be happier with Caroline's childcare for my daughter. Very homely and clean setting. Caroline provides a fun and personalised learning environment based on my daughter's likes. Her communication is great, I get updates throughout the day and observations on development daily. Would highly recommend Caroline and will be sending my second child to her very soon!

My boy (5 months old) is really enjoying his time with Caroline. She has lots of activities to keep him busy when he's there like drawing and playing with lots of toys. She also takes him out for walks. Can totally see that he likes her when I drop him off. She also follows exact instructions on feeding milk & weaning. Have to add that her house is squeaky clean. I totally recommend Caroline as she is a trustworthy and caring childminder with great communication skills.

My daughter has been going to Caroline's for over a year now and loves it. They do lots of varied activities and Caroline is quick to pick up on the child's strengths and weaknesses and their preferences. Communication with parents is brilliant and daily photos with write ups are lovely to see and know what they've been up to. Caroline is very accommodating and flexible when I ask for extra hours or days, which is super helpful and she is even able to help out with my school age son over the school holidays. I would highly recommend.

Our daughter Charlotte started four full days a week with Caz in February 2023 and she absolutely adores going to her. We feel extremely confident that she is being well looked after, and that Caz and the team are nurturing her physical and social development.
Caz keeps us up to date through the day on Charlotte’s hugely varied activities and is so in tune with all the kids - she knows how to respond when they’re a little under the weather or a bit off. The kids spend a lot of time outdoors, both in fields/woods and in the very child-safe garden of the house.
Caz has four kids of her own so there is very little that phases her! This is the first time we’d used a childminder and we didn’t know much about the service, but we honestly feel so lucky to have found Rugrats.
If any of you are considering sending your kids to Rugrats then I’d be really happy to provide a reference direct. Just get my details through Caz.

Our little son started attending to Caz at the beginning of the January. Caz helped him to adopt very well. She was understanding and patience with him. Now, he loves Caz's home. He treats it as his second home. He loves to play there and Caz makes sure that kids develop their skills via various activities. Caz provides very detailed daily updates along with photos. Once a week we receive the development update, usually over the weekend. Caz is very flexible and sometimes she drops off and picks up my 5 years old daughter from Manor school. Also, sometimes my 5 years old stay at Caz's home after the school and my daughter loves that place. Very understanding, supportive and loving kids childminder. I fully recommend her services.

My daughter has been attending with Caroline since sept 22 she has been great, very friendly approachable, my daughter loves going, I get daily updates which is great so I can see what they have been up to during the day they have daily activities, Caroline has always been great and very flexible offering me extra days when I needed it. Would highly appreciate. I would highly recommend her.

Caroline has been absolutely amazing with my son for the past year of being with her, unfortunately due to us moving we are having to leave her for a closer nursery but she has always been super helpful when I ask for extra days/times and great with communication about what they have been up to that day. She will be very missed from this household but we do plan on returning for half terms ☺️

Caz helped me out with childcare when I had a family funeral. She was so prompt at replying to messages which really helped with the funeral planning and took off the pressure cause I knew my children would be cared for. She was so kind and welcoming. My kids had a great time at her house. They want to go back! She was really kind about payment and understanding that we might change times depending on how funeral went. Highly recommend 👌

Echoing previous reviewer, I can't praise Caroline enough. My little one walks in and I don't get a second glance back. With walks in the forest, exploration, tailored activities, fun, a safe and welcoming environment I am very happy to leave my child with Caroline.
The log book, observations and wow moments.are all recorded with care so I get to see what my son does during the day.
Professional and courteous, Caroline runs a top notch child care service, would recommend highly.

Caz helped us out on short notice after we moved to the area and had a gap in our childcare arrangements. She is extremely professional and was absolutely amazing with our 4-year old daughter. She offered a wide range of activities throughout the day and tailored these to my daughter's interests and preferences. Even now, almost 2 months later, my daughter still talks about her time at Caz's and how she loved it. We felt totally at ease leaving our daughter in Caz's care and I would highly recommend her.
