Had two settling in sessions, the kids were kept in conservatory and wasn't allowed to explore yet there were children in the other room watching TV and my child wasn't allowed to join. One of them made a few racist 'jokes' whilst I was there. Not child friendly, I was checking on one of my children whilst they were with the other one for me to turn around and he was gone, to then find him two steps up by himself as they have no stair gate. Found it to be whatever is 'easiest' for them and very little interaction with the children. The kids all seemed very unhappy and bored being stuck in a small conservatory.

We are very sorry that you are unhappy that we could not go ahead and offer childcare for your two boys. As I explained , the settling in sessions are for the parent’s, children and Childminder’s to decide whether it is the correct setting for your children. All our current parents are very happy about the area their children play in, the size of the space, the size of the garden and we have never been called unclean. We had to separate the children from your oldest boy as he was biting, pinching, throwing toys and climbing up on the furniture. He was hitting you and appeared very angry. Unfortunately due to this behaviour our current children were very scared, went quiet and did not want to play. Many times your son tried to leave the playroom and was guided back by myself or my husband. On both visits we were making Easter crafts with the children in our care. Unfortunately due to your son’s unsettled behaviour this activity had to be stopped.
We would like to address the accusation of their being a racist joke. This absolutely did not happen. We have had many nationalities join our setting, some are still with us. We have a very strong bond and relationship with all our families. Two of our reviews are from families from other countries.
We are very sorry that we could not go ahead and offer childcare and that this can be very frustrating. We wish you all the best for the future.
Lou and Adam are fun, loving and caring people. My son has been looked after by them since he was 10 months old and he has developed and learnt so much. At 2.5 years old, he is a fantastic talker and has great confidence. He always has a great time with Lou and Adam and absolutely adores their 2 younger children too. Not only have Lou and Adam become my son’s second home, but they’ve also become our friends :)

From the moment I met Tamaris and Adam, I knew they were the best people to be looking after my 2 year old son. Over the past 12 months, they have provided exceptional care, and I am truly grateful for everything they have done to support my son’s growth and development.
The environment they provide is not only safe and nurturing but also stimulating and fun. I have watched my son thrive under their care, learning new skills, developing confidence, and becoming more independent.
You can see how Tamaris and Adam genuinely care about each child and go above and beyond to create a welcoming atmosphere where both children and parents feel comfortable. They’ve been incredibly accommodating, always understanding of our family’s changing needs.
The bond they’ve formed with my son is heartwarming, and it’s clear he feels loved, supported, and valued in their care. Choosing Tamaris and Adam was the best decision we made for our son, and I cannot recommend them highly enough to any parent looking for outstanding childcare.

My daughter was 2 and a half when she started going to Tamaris. It was a great place where I knew my daughter is safe and have a great place to develop and learn. She is now going to school but occasionally will go to Tamaris. Both Tamaris and her husband are fun,kind people and my daughter absolutely loved to chat with them. I highly reccomend Tamris if you are looking for friendly and reliable people!
