Our little boy has been with Laura for 6 months now and we feel really lucky to have found her. We were very pleased when Laura and Martha have learn a few Lithuanian words to welcome our son and to make his settling in smoother. He is 1 ½ years now and experiencing wonderful time each day there. His confidence and social skills are growing each day. Laura sends us photos of him playing and laughing and it makes us feel happy. Laura is a real professional and devoted to her job a lot. We feel confident leaving our son with her and Martha as we know that our little boy will have another unique day there.

Laura (and Marta) are absolutely perfect. My daughter (now 2) has been at Marlins Munckins for 10 months and simply adores it. I'm keen on educational play and in sending her to childcare I worried that she'd be wandering around a nursery playing by herself and feeling sad. We initially tried nursery and my worst fears were confirmed as that's exactly what she was doing. She was miserable and changed in just 3 weeks from a happy confident child to being tearful and clingy. Thank heavens I found Laura and signed our daughter up immediately. She obviously knew I was an overprotective first time mum and without even mentioning it she eased us in by sending pictures of her happily playing, letting us know she was napping and eating well and just generally making the settling in period exactly what we needed. Since her first day there she has been so happy, she can't wait to go there in the mornings and is usually the one bringing her shoes in to me, asking to go! She seems to learn something new every day, her language is ridiculously good for a child her age, as is Laura's own son's and it's certainly no coincidence as Laura makes learning so fun for them that they don't even realise they're doing it. Within a week of starting there my daughter no longer wanted to be fed and was using utensils. 10 months at Laura's at the age of just turned 2, she can sing full songs, count to 12, sing the alphabet song and the other day told me "that's not a flamingo mummy! That's a parrot".
To summarise I can't recommend Marlins Munchkins highly enough!

Laura is amazing at what she does and I am in awe of her.
At Marlin Munchkins Laura has created a warm, loving, fun atmosphere. She is constantly looking up new things/activities to do with the children to stimulate them and for them to learn. She also gives me ideas of what to do with my son.
The children learn through a variety of things- play, going outside, singing, dancing, reading, art and more. These are all so important and my son has so much fun!
Laura is caring and passionate about her work and the children she looks after and that reads all over her when you meet her.
My son loves going to Marklin Munchkins because of all of the above. I love hearing about the things he's has done having photos of the activities.

My daughter has been with Little Munchkins now for quite a while and I couldn't imagine using anyone else.
If it's a positive, fun environment that you know is safe then this is the childminder for you!!
Deserves more than 5*'s as They are brilliant all rounders and even got my daughter to eat Spicy Chicken :)!!!!!

My 7 year old daughter has been with Laura for a couple of years now and I couldn't ask for a better childminder. Laura is very kind and caring and always puts the children's needs first, she is constantly thinking of fun activities for the children and she takes them outside whenever possible which I love.
My daughter and I are always greeted with a friendly smile and her home is a very warm, welcoming and fun place to be. Laura has a wide age range of children which I think is great and my daughter enjoys helping the younger children to learn through playtime.
I wouldn't know what I would do without Laura and I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a friendly, caring lady to look after their child.

Laura (and Marta) provide brilliant quality care at Marlins Munchkins. Our daughter has been there from September when she was 10 months old and will be sadly leaving at the end of February.... This is only due to the imminent arrival of our new baby so I will be at home to look after her myself.
My husband and I both whole-heartedly believe that our little girls social and educational development has been greatly accelerated by being at Marlins Munchkins and would recommend them to anyone.
Clean, safe environment where you truly feel your baby is cared for and about. Very reasonable cost of care especially given that it includes trips out and all meals (freshly cooked and lots of variation throughout the month)
I was dreading leaving her to go back to full time work but Laura put me at ease and in the whole time Elsie has been there she has never once cried at me leaving her, only ever grinning from ear to ear at the front door
Overall it's hard to find fault, and I know Elsie will miss the other munchkins greatly

My little daughter, Emma started with Laura when she was just over 1 year old as I had to go back to work. Laura made the settling in as easy as possible and continually gave us assurances that all is ok with Emma by sending us messages and pictures throughout the days and providing us a daily diary which was a huge help.
Soon after Emma started she was confident and happy at Laura’s setting and wondered off from me when I dropped her off in the morning, something that is very reassuring as I knew she was in a good place.
Laura is caring, organised and reliable. She has been very flexible as well. She provides a fun and safe environment for the kids in her care and it is definitely a home from home for all the little ones which is something we were after when we first started searching for suitable childcare for Emma.
Unfortunately we have moved away and found that the hardest thing was to leave Laura behind. She certainly set standards that was really hard to match when we searched for a new child minder at our new place.

We found Laura when we needed to find replacement childcare for Lauren. Our fantastic babysitter was going back to university and we couldn't have been happier for her, although we were dreading going through the process of settling in all over again.
I had visited another child minder, but Lauren just didn’t seem herself... then I took her to visit Marlin Munchkins. Absolutely perfect from the moment we got there. It's a lovely, comfy, home environment with all the added extras you would expect to find in a nursery. Lauren got stuck in playing straight away and I knew this was the place for her.
From sensory activities to trips to the park, I know Lauren is getting so much out of her day. So much so, that she is even sleeping better through the night now.
What I love most is all the little updates Laura gives to parents. It helps you feel like you are still involved in your child’s day. We get a daily diary every day, so I know how she has eaten and slept. I just love the learning journey book too.
There really is nothing more important than my little 'Lolly' being happy, and she is so happy here. She seems to have a real fondness for Marta too. Such a lovely affectionate lady.

When our daughter was around 12 months old we started looking for daycare as my wife was returning to work on a contract. We took Serena to a highly rated nursery and she simply hated it. She would start crying as soon as she got near it, would be crying when we picked her up and did not settle at all. I thought this may be initial feelings to a change in routine, etc, but it continued. We took her out, and as first time parents did not know what to do. My wife found Laura online and she has been an absolute God-send. Within minutes of being in the house our daughter was happily walking round and playing with the toys. She instantly looked up to Laura with great affection. She is a totally different child to the one that used to attend nursery. She is happy, chatty, waving at us when we drop her off and at Laura at the end of the day smiling. She cannot wait to go there which is such a relief.
Laura let's us know how Serena is getting on, which was a great comfort especially in the first few weeks. The days are varied with many activities, going out to the park, etc, and Laura even took Serena and the other children to the zoo the other day. My wife and I struggled taking one child there on our own!
It's a fantastic learning environment which is perfectly suited to our daughter. It helps that Laura's own family are lovely and our daughter and her son seem to beat friends already. I couldn't recommended Laura highly enough, we have complete faith in the fantastic care she gives our daughter.

I can honestly say that I struck gold when I found Laura as a child minder for my son Harvey. He joined after leaving full time nursery when he started reception at school. Going to Laura's after school, occasionally before school and in the school holidays has been a treat for both me and him. I can totally rely on Laura that Harvey will be taken to/collected from school with no problems and know that her home is a fantastic environment for him to play, learn or relax and he has the freedom to choose what he wants to do.
She has always been happy to help with Harvey's homework and would set aside time to help Harvey with his reading book. In the holidays they always seem to be out and about on great trips and exciting adventures! He is also fed well and has the opportunity to have drinks and snacks if needed as well as healthy meals.
Laura's home is definitely a second home for Harvey and he is always very happy there. Laura's own children are also very well behaved and get on very well with all the children.
Overall Laura's understanding, reliability and professionalism make her an amazing child minder and I anyone lucky enough to get a place with her should be extremely pleased! I couldn't recommend her highly enough!
