Passionate, caring and motivated

Lucia is a passionate carer of children, someone who demonstrates motivation and creativity in all aspects of her work. Lucia looked after our three children (one primary school age and pre-school twins) for two days a week, until mid May 2023, as sole carer as my husband and I both work full time. There is no doubt that Lucia is one of the most caring and loving people you could wish for to work in your home.

Lucia is a great cook and has been able to help us with some great tips on new or modified meals. Our kids can be quite fussy so this was very much appreciated!

Lucia coped with the differing needs of three kids, all at different ages and stages, admirably. She is an excellent communicator and offers suggestions as to how to manage different progressions. Lucia is motivated to look for different activities in the area and regularly took our twins in the car to play groups, or for trips out. They always had a great time with Lucia. Lucia, thank you so much for all of your patience, hard work and creativity while with us!

I was overwhelmed by how friendly, welcoming and family-orientated your lovely family are. Your focus on education and “our children to be children”, were always a paramount and definitely made everything much easier. Most important, thanks so much for the amount of trust and for the open and honest communication we always had from beginning. I definitely will miss my time with my little ones, my stunning commute through the Lakes and the whole family including the grandparents!

A Special Nanny

We have been lucky enough to have Lucia for the last year looking after our daughter who is now 19 months old.

Lucia is a very caring and kind person who brings joy to children and our daughter adores her. She is energetic and good natured, always coming up with good ideas for play and learning.

Lucia is health conscious and always makes nutritious meals and is a fantastic cook. Our daughter loves ‘the soup’ and Lucia always makes enough for the whole family.

Lucia will look for classes to attend and is a safe driver, we trusted her implicitly with our daughter.

We have nothing but praise for Lucia and wish her well in the next chapter of her life.

One of the hardest things a nanny experiences is giving notice to a family we LOVE!

Believe me, this was not easy for me to do particularly for YOU guys! I dread this moment more than almost any other in my entire Nanny career. Part of the reason it’s genuinely heartbroken to say goodbye to the children we love, to a family routine, and when we are lucky enough, we get along so well with the parents, but we still keep our professionalism and they see and appreciate that too. 🙂

I experienced all that with you and to look after your daughter, your other children sometimes and to support your busy lives were a real honour and I felt very blessed! Thank you so much for your review. Lucia

A real gem, lovely and trustworthy Nanny/Babysitte

I cannot recommend Lucia as a Nanny highly enough. She looked after our 3 kids in 2014, as myself and my husband both worked full time. She immediately established a good rapport with us and most importantly, with our children. We can see how she really enjoys doing this kind of job as she took time and extra effort to get to know them well and spent a lot of time chatting and took a real interest on them. Lucia was extremely reliable, arriving at our home on time every day to drop off our kids at 3 different schools - which was a big challenge for me, but surprisingly not for her! and to pick them up. I would often come home from work to find them happily doing some (delicious!) baking, homework always done or any other fun activity with my little one, she loved to take our children and dog outdoor too. Our family could not have survived that period without her! I would be very happy to work with her again and we still book her as our babysitter, now and then. She is a real gem and her huge experience only speaks for herself. I would highly recommend her to other families without any hesitation! Lorraine

Supernanny!!

Lucia has been an amazing nanny to our 3 year old daughter and 1 year old son. She has also provided evening and weekend babysitting also. She is professional, hard working, reliable and exceptionally well experienced. The kids adore her bubbly, fun and active nature. Lucia organises a great variety of educational and fun activities. She encourages the children with healthy eating (and even prepares meals for the whole family sometimes!) and general good routines. She is fantastic at dealing with issues around sleeping and has provided a wealth of advice and guidance upon a huge range of childcare issues. We cannot recommend Lucia highly enough!
