Exceptional Care Provider :)

Louise is a kind, friendly and respectful lady, who runs a welcoming, well organised and happy setting. You can see she is very passionate about providing the best care and she can and enjoys it.

We viewed several local nursery's and child minders settings and Louise quite instantly stood out. Her setting is well presented and kept clean and tidy. She has key areas for the children to explore including a full equipped play room and garden. She places the children in a quiet room comfortably for nap times, away from distractions.

Louise provides breakfast if needed, followed by healthy snacks through out the day, a home cooked meal for lunch and a smaller tea time meal if required.

She provides monthly guides of their planned activities and details which skills and development stages they hope to cover during these. She follows a strong routine which our daughter settled into very quickly with lots of daily morning trips out across local parks, woods, farms and centres accommodating all weather conditions followed by close interaction activities once settled in the afternoons, plenty of stories, songs, imagination play as well as arts and crafts. Our daughter especially enjoys sand and water play with friends and also planting and baking activities (anything 'messy'). She also works closely with two other local child-minders, which really helps with social interaction and forming relationships.

Louise provides a detailed daily diary, including meals, nappies, sleeps and daily activities. From this we can picture their day, which helps us to feel involved and leaves us plenty to talk about. She provides photos of any key points and a brilliantly detailed learning journey. She is very supportive and is more than happy to take the time to discuss any concerns or form strategies to help with any requirements we have.

Our daughter joined Louise's setting at 10months old and settled in incredibly well, Louise gained her confidence quickly and has managed to encourage new skills and progress. Our daughter now walks happily in each morning, excited for the day ahead and is always still smiling on pick up.
Highlighting that the setting had to close for approximately 3 months during the 'lock down' period this year, our daughter still returned comfortable and Louise has given us every confidence that the setting remains safe and puts every effort to maintain this.

If there is a time where our daughter is hurt or feeling unwell, we are kept informed but I know that she feels comforted by Louise and we are confident that she can administer either first aid or medication following all the correct procedures and completing the necessary records.

We plan to continue using the setting until we no longer require childcare, and highly recommend getting in contact for any of your childcare needs.
