Amazing, knowledgeable nanny

There are no words to express how fortunate and outstanding Michelle has been with our baby daughter over the past year. Michelle is extremely experienced and knowledgeable, offering varied advice without forcing any opinions on us, and she is a true confidante. We moved to an unfamiliar area during her employment and Michelle was very proactive in finding play groups immediately for nurturing our baby's developmental needs. Each day, Michelle has sourced suitable activities for our daughter and has found books and toys for her on their walks via charity shops. She has helped wean our daughter and developed her taste buds, helping batch cook home made, healthy foods, such as fruit smoothies, fish pie and bolognaise. Michellle has given us great tips for ensuring we keep our baby safe from choking hazards when testing out new foods. She has gone over and above what is required and expected. For instance, she has taken our daughter to farms for days out and to the Maritime Museum. As another example, Michelle has gotten to know a lot of other child carers and has helped us when investigating appropriate nurseries for when we must enrol our daughter in September 2025. Michelle will offer her opinions and views on tips and tricks for various developmental milestones and on how to make the house toddler safe. Michelle is above all else, a truly kind and warm person who appears always to genuinely love her job - this shines through as our daughter has such a warm, close bond with her. I don't know what we will do without her! Only through our daughter's age and circumstantial changes is our time with Michelle coming to an end. We would keep her forever, if we could!

The Best Nanny!

Michelle has been looking after our two children for 7 years now and we can’t recommend her highly enough! She started working for us when my daughter was 10 months old, and stayed on when my son was born a year later. She has the most caring disposition, and it’s been a pleasure to have her with us as our children have grown through the years. She is reliable, loving towards our children, and an all around wonderful person. We have always felt confident that our children are in the best hands with Michelle while we are at work and have never doubted her ability to keep them safe and happy. She has so much local knowledge and our kids were always doing fun activities and playgroups before they started school. She is very experienced in dealing with our son’s food allergies and has been a great sounding board for advice since our children have started school. She definitely is an expert on children of all ages, from newborns to age 8+! We can’t imagine our world without Michelle in it.

A wonderful nanny

Michelle has been a wonderful nanny for our family. She has forged warm and caring relationships with both my young daughters, cooked healthy fresh food for them every day (with lots left over for us!) and I come home from work to a spotless downstairs, and happy, contented children.

I was initially anxious about leaving my oldest child (Louisa) with a nanny as in the past she had been distraught every time I left her at the childminders, and was very clingy. She also has severe food allergies, is a very fussy eater, and can be quite a handful! However, very quickly, she bonded with Michelle, and was happy to say goodbye when I went to work. Michelle has gone out of her way to find fun activities for the children to do, taking them to playgroups, parks, and creating fun imaginary games in the house. Louisa often sings new songs Michelle has taught her, and has tried lots of new foods she would never eat with me! Michelle has always been consistent with our methods of discipline, and always brings out the best in our children.
Roxanne, (18 months) also obviously is very happy to be looked after by Michelle. She has also formed a very strong bond with her, and loves showing off in front of her! I have always found Michelle to be incredibly cheerful, enthusiastic, energetic and very capable. Michelle also has many years of experience and so has been able to give me some excellent ideas about how to improve some typically annoying toddler traits.

Michelle has been such a help to our family, in so many ways, and is always flexible if I am running late, or need her at different times. We shall be very sorry to see Michelle leave, but we are awaiting a new addition to our family, and due to personal health problems, I will be needing a live in help. I can not recommend Michelle highly enough, and will be very happy to speak to anybody considering Michelle as their nanny. She will be a huge asset to any family, and hugely missed by mine.
