Marie and Chris are both outstanding. They offer an excellent setting, with a great care and thought going into each day's activities. They genuinely care about the little ones and are excellent at what they do! They are passionate about offering the best they can and continuously develop. I feel so lucky we found them for both my kids. I can't recommend Marie's setting enough.
Our toddler Lucy (currently 22 months) started with Shumana about 6 weeks ago. But it honestly feels so much longer as Lucy has settled in so quickly and gets excited when we approach Shumana’s door.
Shumana has been so caring with Lucy and we have noticed Lucy’s speech has been coming on and she is showing so much confidence in herself.
We are really lucky to have found Shumana. Her setting is cosy! Perfect for Lucy. And we love that we get updates throughout the day via Tiney app.
Kayleigh was a knowledgeable and engaging tutor, and when she attended, her teaching was excellent. However, her reliability was inconsistent, making it difficult to establish a regular tutoring schedule for our son.
Between November and February, six out of nine scheduled sessions did not go ahead, often due to last-minute reports of illness. Rather than cancelling outright, Kayleigh left the decision to us, citing a sickness bug in her class, post-flight sickness, a contagious chest infection, and a norovirus outbreak at schools she worked in. On multiple occasions, she first checked in with us to confirm we were available for the session, only to later report an illness and ask if we still wanted to proceed. This put the burden of cancellation on us rather than taking responsibility herself.
On one occasion, she forgot a session entirely, and we had to contact her to check if she was coming. In addition to the cancellations, there were also several instances where session times were changed at short notice.
After a few initial lessons, we paid upfront for a block of 10 sessions, but only one of these ever took place. When we initially requested a refund for the second prepaid session that was missed, we faced delays and had to follow up several times before it was received. Ultimately, we decided to end the arrangement and sought a refund for the undelivered tutoring sessions. We were able to reach a compromise settlement for a partial refund, which Kayleigh paid quickly.
If you are looking for a good tutor but can be flexible, Kayleigh may work for you. However, if consistency is a priority, I strongly recommend paying per session rather than booking and paying in advance.

My son has been with Cheryl since September 2020, he absolutely loves it there and adores Cheryl. My daughter joined them in January 2024 and she has had the best time so far. Both my children have thrived been with Cheryl and love their “Cheryl days”. Couldn’t ask for a better childminder for my children.
Sophia and Bella, the fantastic mother-daughter team, took excellent care of my 1-year-old. From the start, their nurturing and attentive approach put me at ease, knowing my little one was in such capable hands. We saw significant progress in her development by the time we had to relocate, a testament to the safe and loving environment they provided. I wholeheartedly recommend Sophia and Bella for their outstanding dedication and the positive influence they had on our child!

Jo has been fantastic when looking after my little boy, he gets very overwhelmed and unsettled easily and Jo has been amazing in supporting him and making him feel at home whilst with her!
She’s always been very welcoming and professional from our first meeting and it was a no brainer to use Jo for my childminding needs right from the start! X

Lorna is an absolute gem – a real salt-of-the-earth mother with lots of experience. From the moment we met her, my daughter loved her, and its not very common for my girl to take to someone so quickly. Lorna has warmth and natural instinct that makes a truly great childminder.
She provides such a loving and engaging environment, and my daughter absolutely adores her. It’s such a relief knowing my little one is in such good hands. I couldn’t recommend Lorna highly enough – she’s simply brilliant!

I was so apprehensive to return to work and to leave my baby. He is my third baby and I was devastated when I realised there were no spaces in the local recommended nursery settings. I’d never really considered looking at childminders, but I am so glad I did. As soon as we went to Dee’s for an initial visit we were met with kindness and warmth. I felt so comfortable and could tell my son did too. The main play room is spacious and calming and full of a variety of toys/activities for everyone. There’s a separate room for sleeping and down time which even I could’ve fallen asleep in! 😂
A few months in and everything is wonderful and our beautiful boy is thriving. He’s absolutely fine when being dropped off in the morning which I wasn’t expecting so soon, as he’s a super clingy baby. Dee has been very understanding of personal circumstances and very helpful in accommodating us. We can’t wait to continue to watch our boy learn and grow with the help of Dee and her lovely apprentice. This place is a god send and we feel so lucky our baby gets to be here.

We would highly recommend Claire’s Little Rockers childminding service. We have been taking our daughter to Claire for 18 months and Claire has become an extension of our family where our daughter is so excited to see her and her friends. Claire offers a range of different activities and toys that meets the needs of all ages and stages. Claire offers space and time for parent/carers to communicate and feedback. Claire provides a home from home provision which our daughter settled so well into and regular opportunities to attend playgroups and socialise.
I don’t even know how to begin this review- Charlotte is truly an incredible nanny and amazing support to our little family. She has completely fitted into our schedule (since Aug 2024) and our 3 year old cannot WAIT to see her every week (actually jumping for joy). Charlotte is not only highly experienced, and has looked after various needs and ages, she is also very reliable and is so easy to work with, she has slotted in and feels like a lovely friend. She is very affectionate, caring and fun- kids are drawn to her as she’s a natural. We are genuinely so lucky to have found her because our toddler has the best time with her. Charlotte is so resourceful and finds different activities for them both to do together which my toddler loves. She is always planning ahead which lightens my load.
I know how nerve wrecking it is to try and find childcare (she is our first nanny) and would be happy to speak to anyone interested in working with Charlotte as we hope to continue this relationship for as long as she’ll have us!
When viewing childminders and nursery’s Oak Glen was the only provider which I felt happy to send my son to. What stood out to me was the variety of learning on offer and how organised they were. He started at OG back in November when he just turned 1 and even though he took a couple of months to settle, I was always really pleased with how comfortable and welcome the OG team made he and I feel. He now walks into their arms in the morning and doesn’t look back and seems really happy there. They recently held coffee mornings for parents to visit the nursery and i came away feeling completely at ease and confident leaving my child in their care, it really is a lovely homely setting and so nice that it is family run. They have managed to offer a nursery standard but with a personal touch. All of the staff are kind, caring and personable. Katie is also very approachable if you have any queries on concerns and she really does strive to go above and beyond for the children and their learning. I have recommended to a number of friends and hope to see OG continuing to thrive as they grow.
I sent my children to jacqui's back in 2009 when my eldest started nursery school she had been recommended by a neighbour. Girls settled in really well and never have an issue. I even sent my son from about 9 months. My children felt safe with jacqui, she also had activities for them or trips out ie playgroup, picnics or farm visits etc, My youngest daughter become good friends with Jacqui's daughter they went to school together and have remained friends. I totally trust jacqui and had no concerned with her welfare with caring for my children.
Karina has cared for my son in the past year and has been integral to the setting. She is incredibly kind and caring and I’m always at ease leaving knowing he will be well taken care of. Karina practices aware parenting and is child-led in her approach which creates a calm and joyful environment. All of the children find Karina warm and fun. I’d recommended her to other parents.
My twins have been going to Linda’s since they were 12 months old and are still going now they are 3 years old. They speak so fondly of Linda and Connie and look forward to the days that they go in. They are always greeted with the warmest welcome and run in with excitement. This puts me at such ease knowing that they are happy and properly cared for while my husband and I are at work. Couldn’t recommend Linda enough.

Our little boy (14 months) joined Ani a couple of months ago and it has truly been a wonderful experience from the very start. We didn’t feel he was ready for a larger nursery environment, and with Ani it has provided the perfect balance: lots of stimulation being around other children, but still in a home setting which seems incredibly nurturing and caring. I love that the children go on little adventures (to the playground or soft play) and Ani’s home setting is wonderfully set up too, with plenty of space and activities. We have struggled with weaning and good eating habits with our little one and have seen a lot of great progress since he’s been with Ani, who has also been fantastic with tips and tricks on what has worked best! I highly recommend Ani and feel very lucky we found her!

isabella started attending lillies of the valley at the start of Feb. I was worried as she's my first child and she's only 8 months but we knew after meeting Annette last year she would give isabella the best care. My mind was put at ease straight away and I get daily updates and picture of what they have been doing/ exploring today. Isabella loves going and she's come on so much in the weeks that she's been there. she's become much more vocal with her noises and learnt to clap. We are more than thrilled with the level of care isabella gets and cannot recommend Annette and Eddie enough.
I couldn’t recommend Michelle and her family more. My children have gone from sobbing at nursery to asking to go to Michelle’s even at the weekend. She is a fantastic extension of our family and my boys love her. The boys are happy, well cared for and are taught everything and beyond what children should be taught. She cares them for like her own and is so flexible with the childcare hours to ensure it fits to my family. Even down to cooking certain meals for my boys as they refuse to eat sandwiches etc. fantastic
