About Me
Hi my name is Nav and I am an OFSTED registered (Rated GOOD) childminder who also offers babysitting and tutoring services. I have been childminding for 5 years and am Level 5 Childcare trained.
I also hold a First Class Degree in Early Years Leadership and am committed to advocating for children's voices to be heard in Early Years settings.
In 2023, I was also selected by the governments Department of Education to be a mentor for other childcare providers as part of the Government's COVID-19 Childcare Recovery Programme.
I currently have both full and part time spaces. Please get in contact should you wish to discuss anything. I am flexible and also able to care for children over the weekend or in the evening. This can be ideal for those who may work shifts, which include earlier or later hours than a nursery setting.
I have 2 of my own children aged 12 and 14, which means I spend a lot of my spare time doing activities with them. I live with my children and husband in a loving and welcoming home.
My setting also has assistants who work for me whilst completing their studies in childcare
My Experience
I am DBS checked, fully insured and hold a full Paediatric First Aid qualification which includes anaphylaxis training. I hold a Level 5 Childcare Management Qualification and regularly complete training on Safeguarding children. I also have First Class Degree in Early Years Leadership and Practice. I have a full clean driving licence and have my own car. I pride myself on providing a home away from home, and work hard to ensure that every child at my setting feels comfortable. I have vast experience with newborns and twins.

I am always doing new courses which I feel would benefit the childcare i provide. I do refresher courses so I am always up to date with the industry.
My Availability
- Currently I have full and part time spaces available. I am also able to accommodate ad-hoc care. I can also cover temporary periods including school holidays.
- I am available for tutoring on weekends and evenings. I am very familiar with the Primary school curriculum and have a level 3 teaching assistant qualification. I can assist with helping children who may be behind or may need some extra one to one help. I can also help with 11+ preparation. I am also available for SATs and GCSE English tutoring.
- I provide pick-up and drop-offs to James Elliman Primary School, Khalsa Primary School, Phoenix Academy, Pioneer Academy and Baylis Court Nursery at present.
- Please contact me to discuss my availability.
- Evening/weekend/overnight Childminding/Babysitting is offered on site or at your home dependant on your needs and my availability. Please Note I am a Childminder so have my own setting which is open during the day, so would probably be unlikely to be able to come to your home during this time.

- Childminding from £7.50 per hour with discounts for full-time/regular childcare/siblings.

- Personal Tutoring for primary and 11 plus, either at your home or mine from £13.00 per hour.

Nav is friendly and very supportive. She adapts to the needs of family and provide them with customized support. She bonds naturally with children, and her staff are great as well. Nav and her staff are very attentive and alert to the needs of children. My daughter started with them when she was 1 year old. She has learnt so much with them, she is already chatting away so much.. Very homely and family kind of atmosphere in the setting. Well done Nav...Thank you for looking after my daughter... 👍👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏

My daughter has been coming to Navs for over 3 years now and I wouldn't be able to go to work without having her there. To know your child is in safe loving hands is amazing, Nav is always so flexible and accommodating!

My son has been with Nav since June 2021. It was daunting leaving him however, my mind was put at ease after the first day! I noticed he settled well and he was very, very happy. A massive thank you to Nav and her team - I really appreciate your patience and kindness towards my son. Highly recommended!

Nav and her staff have been childminding our sons since January 2021. She initially had them for 3 full days at very short notice due to the nursery they were due to attend being unable to open due to lockdown restrictions and now she has them for 2 long afternoons each week which includes collecting them from nursery after their morning sessions.
I have been extremely happy with the care they have received. Nav does a wide range of fun activities indoors and in the garden. They often come home with themed arts and craft they are proud to show off.
Nav is a great communicator and responds to emails and texts very promptly as well as occasionally providing updates and photos of what they have been up to in the day.
Although I provide the twins' food each day I know that she will provide healthy snacks if they are exceptionally hungry or keen to eat what the older children are eating.
All in all I am thoroughly happy with the level of care Nav provides and I’m certain that being in such a positive and happy environment is helping them develop into confident little boys.
I would absolutely recommend Nav as a brilliant and reliable childminder.
