I am a disciplined and hard-working person who is committed to the education and welfare of children. I have experience working with children up to the age of 14 years old.
My communication and management skills are excellent as I can encourage children to achieve their potential by stimulating their imagination and enthusiasm for learning.
I am extremely patient and can engage pupils through my creativity, commitment, and calming temperament.
I plan lessons and activities for children so they can be engaged in the learning process. I strongly believe children need to get a solid education from a young age.
I aim to help children become confident individuals with a fundamental belief in their abilities.
My Experience
Teaching privately and at schools has allowed me to effectively communicate with a broad range of parents and children. I listen to the child's needs, and I talk to the parents regularly to ensure the goals are set appropriately and completed on time.
I make sure the lessons are fun and engaging so the child can feel confident in their knowledge and ability. I like to encourage and motivate them for their future and boost their confidence in doing more.
I have over ten years of experience working with children with special educational needs and children with different abilities.
I worked as a primary school teacher in London. I currently tutor children privately, supporting them with English, Maths and Handwriting, securing their knowledge and working according to the National Curriculum.

We were incredibly fortunate to have Aleks work with our 5-year-old son during our six-week stay in London. Our son is on the Autism Spectrum, and finding someone with the right balance of patience, skill, and care was critical for us. Aleks exceeded all of our expectations.
From the start, it was clear that Aleks is a passionate and highly skilled educator. She came prepared every day with tailored resources that perfectly matched our son’s school curriculum. Her innovative use of songs, playful learning techniques, and calming strategies not only captured his attention but also significantly improved his focus. Most importantly, Aleks made remarkable progress with his reading and writing in such a short time.
What truly sets Aleks apart is her ability to create a safe and supportive environment. Our son felt comfortable with her, which led to him being more receptive and engaged in his lessons. As parents, seeing that trust and connection was invaluable.
Aleks’ positive energy, nurturing approach, and deep dedication to our son’s success were nothing short of extraordinary. We are so impressed by the progress our son has made that we plan to continue working with her through online lessons after we return home.

After so many failed attempts to find a tutor for my daughter who has been out of school for some time and also has dyslexia, I finally came across Alex, which I’m so grateful for. Within the first month Alex has taught my daughter how to read,write and recognise her numbers not to mention the confidence my daughter has now and is much more enthusiastic about learning. Alex has so much patience when she’s teaching my daughter and also provides a lot of feedback at the end of each session which is so helpful. She also provides the appropriate homework needed. Alex always checks up on how my daughter is doing and gives little fun learning activities to do with her, even on the days when she’s not teaching. I can’t recommend Alex enough!!

She is a fantastic tutor for my son(8years old).
My family just moved to London from one of Asian countries and my son has started learning English since this June.
Aleks could teach him from biginner level patiently every time.
Although my son is so shy, she always encourages him.
It is hard for him to learn English as second language, but I can see his improvement.
I hope he can keep learning with Aleks and get better with his English skill.

It is a real pleasure working with your son.
Aleks has been absolutely fantastic with my 5 year daughter. Since starting lessons with Aleks my daughter has really grown in her confidence and is soo much more enthusiasitc about learning. Aleks is incredibly patient and excellent at explaining things in a way that is easy to understand understand and interesting enough for a 5 year with a short attention span! I would highly reccommend Aleks as a home tutor.

I love working with your daughter, and seeing her being confident in her learning is amazing.
Aleks has been fantastic with both my daughters. She initially taught my 10 year old year Maths, She was moving to a private school and just needed some confidence to work at the higher lever. She loved the lessons and easily ticked off a subject a week and Aleks would give her homework to talk through the following week. We then introduced her 9 year old sister who has been having handwriting lessons, she initially struggled to concentrate for the hour but Aleks made the lessons interesting, in 4 lessons her writing is much easier to read having gone back to basics and not joining letters and I’m confident in another 4 she will be joining up again.
