Dorothy came to support us with our 3 week old newborn. Right from the beginning, Dorothy made us feel calm and confident. She started with a phone call to discuss our concerns and needs and already alleviated a lot of my worries with this.
We did 4-5 hours a day for a week straight and by the end of the week, my confidence had gone from strength to strength. She slotted into our lives and our home seamlessly - being respectful and very open with communication.
I couldn’t recommend Dorothy enough, as I told her, I feel she gave me my wings!

Thank you so much Jo you are an Angel🫂Xx
We are beyond grateful for the exceptional care Dorothy provided to our family over the past four months. From the moment we brought our baby Sidney home (our second child, as we also have a 5yo, a whole other challenge in itself!), she has been an absolute blessing, working with us Monday to Friday each week. Dorothy's incredible talent and dedication have made a world of difference in our lives. She is consistently punctual and maintains a calming and tidy environment, which has been such a relief for us during this busy time.
Dorothy's baby-led approach was instrumental in teaching us how to listen to Sidney's cues and create effective routines. Her guidance helped us understand his needs and grow confidence in handling situations when he might get upset. I love watching Dorothy playing with Sidney, she engages him reading books and introduces new sensory toys each week, I am sure this has played a great part in his calm, very sociable and smiley demeanor.
Thanks to Dorothy’s expert advice, Sidney was sleeping through the night by eight weeks—a milestone that has brought us much-needed rest and peace of mind.
Her emotional support for me as a mother was invaluable. I had a very tough postpartum experience with this pregnancy, with significant hormonal swings and I seriously struggled with my mood on certain days. Dorothy helped me navigate these heavy challenges, and taught me how to best organise my day to ensure moments of rest and recovery were always scheduled, which was crucial for my well-being.
She also expertly guided us through key milestones such as introducing bottle feeding and formula alongside breastfeeding.
Dorothy's incredible knowledge of babies is evident in everything she does, yet she never judges parents for their choices. She supports you in finding your own way of being with your baby, making you feel confident and capable.
Dorothy is truly a remarkable maternity nurse, and we cannot recommend her highly enough. Her positive impact on our family is immeasurable, and we are forever grateful for her unwavering support and exceptional care.
We had Dorothy for the welcome home package, two nights a week and one day and it was very positive. I was recovering from a c section and having her at home for two nights when we got home from the hospital was invaluable.
It is quite an intimate time as new parents to have essentially a stranger in the house but it really didn’t feel that way with Dorothy, she is very respectful of your space and home. I believe she could get on with just about anyone. She is very supportive of how you want to do things and can steer you in the right direction. Top notch at handling me crying - completely understanding and sympathetic. She takes instructions well and is very clean and tidy.
Review from baby - well the little one was certainly very happy! My daughter was always very content whilst being looked after by Dorothy and even the following day. Dorothy will log all of the babies events and let you have a run down of how she was and give you suggestions. She will really miss her.
My baby is almost 8 weeks old, she sleeps all night just wakes for one feed and then straight back to sleep. So if you’re in a position to use Dorothy you should!
Dorothy cared for our 10-week-old Kai/Baby boy in the lead up to and on the actual day of our wedding; The day before the wedding whilst my husband and I prepped at the wedding venue, overnight so we could have a decent nights rest and wake up to straight into the day. We chose Dorothy because right from our initial Zoom meeting, she put us at ease and had an instant ‘auntie presence'. Sadly both my parents have passed away and her warmth was especially appreciated because of my family circumstances. My husband and I was so so grateful for the way that she took care of our baby on the day, which enabled us to enjoy without worries or guilt.
Family and friends really enjoyed catching glimpses of our son on the day and Dorothy ensured that they were able to express their love and adoration of our little one. She was a massive part of our Wedding Weekend.
Following his time with her he was happy and sociable, we couldn’t recommend her more highly!

Thank you Michelle,it was such a honour to be given this sacred Trust.
Loved working with you it was very Special Xx
Dorothy was with us for 4 weeks, one day a week and her help was invaluable. As a first time (and highly anxious) mum she really helped me to feel more confident and to learn to understand my own baby. She is extremely professional, very caring and loving towards baby, always on time and very hard working. She is very knowledgeable about all things newborns and she’s such a huge support to mums both practically and emotionally. She would be a great addition to any household with a little one(s) to look after.
