My Experience
I have been a nanny for 10 years, beginning my first role in July 2014. Before that, I spent 5 years working in day nurseries. I have cared for children ranging from newborns to primary school age.
I run an ad hoc and temporary nanny business. As a self-employed professional, I will personally provide flexible, short-term childcare solutions to meet your needs.
My Qualifications
Level 3 Diploma in Child Care and Education, Obtained June 2009.
Paediatric First Aid obtained December 2023.
Safeguarding Children Level 1 obtained September 2024.
I also hold a valid DBS certificate and subscribe to the update service.
My Availability
I am currently taking bookings for ad hoc and temporary nanny services. Please contact me with your needs and I can see if I have availability as it changes month by month.
I am also open to babysitting in the evenings locally.

My Fees
- Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)
- Babysitting from £16.00 per hour
• Standard Nannying Rate – £20 per hour (for pre-booked daytime and evening care).
• Babysitting Rate – £16 per hour (only applicable for bookings that begin at 6:00 PM or later).
The babysitting rate applies only if the booking starts at 6:00 PM or later.
If a booking begins before 6:00 PM, the standard nannying rate applies for the entire duration of the booking, even if it continues into the evening.

Shelly has babysat for us a few times and I have got to know her quite well through our current nanny. She is fantastic with kids and they get so excited with the thought of her coming over. She is super organised, creative and has a very kind heart. I would highly recommend her.

Shelley has been our nanny twice now, and both times both us and our boy have been so happy to have her as part of our family. Caring, thoughtful, and loads of energy and ideas to make days fun! I couldn't imagine anyone better to be your nanny.

We have had Shelley as our occasional babysitter for some years now and can highly recommend her. my daughter adores her. She is trust worthy and compassionate towards children. Our daughter has medical needs that Shelley has never had issues with.
