About Me

I am an Ofsted registered child-minder who provides fun loving quality home based childcare. My husband Andrew and daughter Olivia work together. We also have a 26yr old son who works as a Paramedic and 2 grandchildren. Andrew used to be a Theatre nurse working with paediatrics and I've previously worked in our local school with an autistic child 1-1

We live in a semi detached property in Cheadle Heath very close to the M60 motorway. We have 3 dogs called Star Flash and Hulk, 2 colourful parrots called Lola and Peanut and Marine fish who have all mixed with our children/grandchildren since birth.

We have lots of fun filled toys and activities for children of all ages in our home and a large safe and secure garden which is also filled with a sand pit, big water play, little tykes cars and see saws, hula hoops and lots more. I encourage outdoor play on a daily basis/walks .

We meet up with other local child-minders to provide/promote socialising with larger groups of children. All my activities are based on learning through play and incorporate the EYFS 7 areas of learning this includes, soft play, story time, trips to local parks, play groups and library's.

We prepare and cook all meals with fresh ingredients and promote healthy eating and provide toothbrushes for Dental hygiene for all the children.

We hold annual bus passes so we can venture out on public transport with the children.

All children in our care will have an individual learning file and each month our setting has a theme for example, Transport, Gardens/insects, Seasons and Emergency Vehicles.

We look after children from the ages 0-11 years old and registered on both the childcare register and the early years register.
