My name is Abi and I am 31 years old. I am a mother to 2 wonderful daughters.
I would consider myself to be a friendly warm person. I enjoy the company of children and have lots of patience warmth and understanding.
I enjoy spending time outside with my children particularly walking and cycling. When the weather isn't so nice we enjoy trips to the cinema or a film snuggled up in front of the tv!
I enjoy a happy home environment and this is something I feel I could provide for other children.
My Experience
I currently work as a child minder for a child in the local area. This position will soon come to an end.
I have 14 years of parenting experience which includes playing an active role in my daughters school. I have also been a volunteer for The Pyramid club which helps to boost children's confidence and self esteem.
I have completed a childcare course (2 years) in which I gained experience in several nurseries and schools in the Penzance area.
I have also completed an Access into higher education course, which I used to enter a Social Work degree. Unfortunately after completing the first year I decided not to pursue this.
My Qualifications
BTEC National Diploma in childhood studies. (Level 3)
Access to Higher Education-Health and Social Care. (Level 3)
BA Hons In Social Work (First year only)
My Availability
Available for an immediate start in the local area. Monday to Friday only. Early mornings are fine on the understanding that I may need to involve my daughter. Would consider occasional Saturdays if needed.
I am a driver with a full clean driving license.
