Safeguarding children is at the heart of the childminder's practice. The childminder and
her assistant have a good knowledge of their responsibilities to ensure children are kept
safe and protected from harm. The implementation of robust policies and procedures
successfully promotes children's safety and well-being.
The childminder and her assistant have a thorough understanding of how to plan
activities, which help children to learn and develop, based on their observed needs.
Children are happy, sociable and confident, and thoroughly enjoy their time in a relaxed
and stimulating home. They develop good relationships and close emotional
attachments with the childminder and her assistant. As a result, they show high levels
of self-esteem and security within the provision.
Partnerships with parents and other early years providers is good and makes an
effective contribution to meeting all children's individual needs. Self-evaluation is used
well to continuously raise standards and drive improvement forward, for the benefit of
children.

I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder. I have completed the relevant and most up to date courses.

I have been married for 26years and have 2 lovely boys, aged 17 and 26years.
I have loved and am still enjoying every minute of seeing how my boys are growing up, and seeing how their little personalities change through their childhood.

We live in a detached house with a fully enclosed garden on the Grosvenor park estate in Crewe. We want your child to feel like part of the family and welcome in all areas of our home.

We have 2 small Shichon dogs, lovely natured, all the children love them.

I believe from the experience of raising my own children that i can provide your child, whatever their age with a warm, secure and enjoyable environment that will help them develop and learn throughout their childhood.

I try to keep things flexible as possible to take into account yours and your child's needs.

A settling in period can be arranged to ensure your child is happy and reassured on their first few visits to me, i can also arrange a visit to see you and your child in your own home, which maybe less un-nerving for your child.
