Amy has looked after our child from 8 months (now 3.5 years) and we've never ever had any cause for concern.
Very professional and reliable - which is exactly what we needed as full time working parents.
Amy has created a home from home, family setting that is full of joy and happiness.
There is so much investment from Amy's side - both professionally and personally.
The children have fresh home cooked meals every day and go for days out such as Bolton Abbey and dancing classes. The children form special friendships and play with children younger and older
Would definitely recommend.
Amy took my little boy from 11 months old I was a worried parent with a little boy with allergies and asthma. Amy made me feel safe from day 1. Communication was perfect, care and control around his needs just brilliant. My little boy loves Amy days. He goes 5 days a week, she has loved and nurtured him and he has thrived. Her attention to early years excellence is outstanding. He is developing faster than age related expectations because of this. My boy is happy, he is safe and he is lucky to have had the love care and guidance that Amy has given. Thanks Amy I am a relaxed mummy because of you.
I was extremely happy with Amy’s care of my child until she hired an assistant. Upon collection of my child on several occasions when the assistant answered due to Amy being busy caring for the other children she would not know what my child had eaten or what she had done during the day. I would like to know what my child had done during the day and had eaten upon collection.
On one occasion I collected my child and the door was answered by the assistant who stated my child was asleep, and she would get her. I saw through the window my child fast asleep on the floor laid down. The assistant picked her up straight onto her feet and walked her to the door disoriented.
I spoke to Amy about this as Ofsted states a child should be roused awake. Not just lifted directly from sleep and made to walk. Amy lied and stated my child was not asleep.
Amy has a ring doorbell which will of caught her assistant saying “your child is asleep, I will go and get her”. Why would my child be laid flat on the floor if not asleep?!
I believe if Amy could lie about that, what else could she lie about what she does when my child is within her care. How is she treating her when I cannot see what she is doing. I pulled her from her care as I no longer had trust in her.
I reported this incident to Ofsted.
I have recently made a review of this privately on another website and have received a threat from Amy stating she is “taking this further”.
It is not illegal to post a review of an incident that truthfully occurred and is documented.
To threaten a past customer due to not liking being exposed for poor care is aberrant.
Amy is currently looking after my 15 week old baby. When I first started looking for someone I was worried how I would be leaving him with him being so young . Amy made me feel 100% safe leaving my son with her .
She's got a lovely family home with three children. Iv only met her youngest Katy , she's so lovely and loves my son coming to the house .
Amy is extremely flexible and very understanding if ever I'm late from work picking him up. If I can't drop or pick him up she will come to me. There's never a problem she's fantastic .
Amy will send pictures of my son when she has him and sends them to me reassuring me he's happy .
I wouldn't have a bad word to say , I'm hoping for James to be with Amy more next year and would recommend her to anyone . Fantastic xx
From the moment I met Amy, she instilled confidence in me as a mum of a 1yr old and I had no hesitation in securing her services.
She was extremely professional, experienced, caring and very personable. Her home environment was perfectly geared towards looking after young children and there was always a variety of groups and outings to keep my little one happy and stimulated.
The communication and feedback that she provided whilst my son was in her care throughout and at the end of the day always reassured me. He quickly settled with her and was very happy.
Amy was also very amenable to my circumstances and being a mum herself, always listened to me. I would have no hesitation in recommending Amy.
