I am a registered childminder who has always aims to provide a very caring and professional Childcare service. Providing Breakfast and Afterschool Club for the children of families living within the Balerno area.

A mother of two.(Both adults now)
*I have an SVQ 3 Children's care, Learning and Development qualification.
* I have gained great skills and experience working as a Primary School Learning and teaching assistant.
*Over the years I have also gained a great deal of experience whilst assisting at playgroups, Nurseries and Primary Schools.
* I decided to follow my heart and love of children by changing my career to work with and support young children. I was very fortunate to have been offered a job as a Primary School Learning and Teaching assistant at Juniper Green Primary School. During this time I gained over 3 years of fantastic Learning Support Experience. This wonderful experience confirmed my genuine desire to continue to support young children and their development.
*As I had been a working parent myself I recognized the need for local quality child care and began to develop a Home from Home After school childcare service. This service proved to be very popular and I then extended my service to support parents further by also offering a small Breakfast Club.
*I remain committed to continuing professional development. I regularly attend relevant training sessions including First Aid, Child Protection, Food Health and Hygiene and have an SVQ Level 3 in Children's Care Learning and development.
I now have over 18 years of experience and training as a registered child minder providing a safe, secure, caring, fun home from home environment for the children in my care before and after school.
