About Me
Hi thank you for looking at my profile.
I offer spaces for all children from babies to preschool . I am a home from home setting.
I am a Eligible Childminder which means I can offer free childcare for 2 year olds on the free for 2 scheme (for eligible children) and for 3 & 4 years olds for up to 15 hours each week (for all children) and up to 30 hours (for eligible children).
Ofsted Graded as good
I follow the Revised Early Years Foundation Stage 2021 and use a learning journal in which I record your child’s achievements /photos/art work.
I am non smoker.
I have been married 32 years with 3 adults in their early twenties. My oldest daughter is a year 2 teacher living in Norwich. My second daughter is a midwife and my son is a welder/paint sprayer at a coach builder company.
I have lots of age related toys, including books, jigsaws, toy kitchen with utensils/bowls/pretend food, musical instruments, wedgits, constructions toys, magnetic toys, cars, trucks and a toy garage, dressing up clothes, arts and crafts (painting, stamping, play dough, chalks, sticking, felt pens, paint sticks and crayons) dolls, buggies, Noahs Ark and animals, Happyland track/road/people/houses, wooden rainbow, “wow” vehicles/people and various other toys.
We have had trips to;
Wildwood (member).
Hampton Pier Park (Herne Bay).
Beaches in the warmer months.
Whitstable Castle.
Children's Centre's for Messy Play & stay and play/toddler groups (St Mary’s & Bysing Wood)
Badger Hill Farm, where the children can see the animals and enjoy the play area
Play areas in Faversham regularly (swimming pool park/recreation ground/Perry court play area and Millfield play area)
Stonebridge pond to feed the ducks.
Gun powder mills country park.
Physic community garden with children’s play area.

In my fully enclosed garden I have ride on toys, sand pit with lid, Little Tikes cube slide, hoops, balls bats, bikes, scooters, skittles, golf, chalk board.
I also do cooking with the children, and have grown our own fruit and vegetables.
I always ask parents if they have any other ideas of activities they would like their child to do with me.
If children have a sleep I try to do the activities and outings around their sleeping patterns.
I take all the children's interests and ages in to account when planning their activities as all children are individuals.
I own a seven seater car which is fully insured for business use.
I live very close to the A2 Faversham, the junction is opposite the Abbey School. 3 -4 minutes walk to railway station and bus stops.
I live in a 4 bed terrace house with a down stairs toilet which is ideal for potty training.
I use the whole of my downstairs for childminding
I send an daily update by WhatsApp, which also includes some photos

My Experience
I have had experience looking after children from newborn to sixteen years old.
I have 3 young adults of my own aged 20 (boy), 25 and 27 (girls) so have lots of experience with boys and girls of various ages.
I have been a registered childminder for 16 years.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
I charge £5.00 an hour for full time pre-school children and for part time pre-school children.
I also able to receive childcare vouchers
Payment by bank transfer 1st monthly
