My Summary
About Me
I am based in Chorlton near to Longford Park, and I have a large playroom solely for childminding. I have many resources in my setting and provide a safe, clean environment for children to learn through play. I also have a large garden with an all weather pitch, with football nets, and a basketball net. There are also little tykes cars, sand play and water play.
The garden is used for most activities when the weather is dry. I also have a downstairs toilet for childrens use.
We also attend local playgroups so that children can build friendships outside the setting, and visit local parks and the library.
I provide nutritious homecooked meals and snacks, and water is available at all times.
I provide settling in sessions to make the transition to my setting easier, and keep in touch with parents via whattsap throughout the day, to keep them informed of their childs day.
I was graded "Good" in my inspection in October 2019.
My Experience
I have worked with children all my working life. I started working as a nanny as a teenager. I then became an Ofsted registered childminder and have been childminding for twenty nine years, whilst bringing up my own family. I was rated "Good" in my inspection in October 2019 I am used to planning activities for children based on their stage of development. I am dbs checked and hold a Paediatric First Aid Certificate.

I am a member of pacey and keep up to date with training, these include.

We have used Claire as a childminder for the last few year for our son who is now four and our daughter who is now two. Claire is amazing with the kids and they really look forward to their days with her. We always get little updates through the day with photos of what they have been up to which is really nice and tries to get them playing outside for some time each day, unless the weather is really bad. Claire has always been really helpful and flexible on the odd occasion that we have needed it and is doing school pickup now for our son as he has started school, providing him with a nice continuity as he settles in to school. All in all we could not be happier with our choice of childminder and would highly recommend that you consider her if you are looking for a provider.
