We have been fortunate to have our two daughters attend Little Panda's for the past 4 years, and I can’t express enough how fantastic our experience has been. From the moment we first attended an open session we just got a sense of what was being offered here compared to other settings.
To put things into context we left Barnet in 2021 but despite a 30 minute commune we have continued to take our children to this setting until they left in the autumn to attend school. Both our girls still speak fondly of Hui An and Little Panda and only this past week we took them to visit because they had been asking. Little did we know but Hui An had arranged for the children to make a birthday cake for one of our daughters who had a recent birthday and they celebrated together. It is little things like this that occurred frequently throughout the years with such regularity that really made us realise how special the setting was.
We did have our children in another nursery setting for two days a week closer to our home and the contrast between the two was enormous. What I have noticed is that it is the people that make a setting. The thing you can guarantee with Little Pandas is that what makes it special is Hui An and she is always going to be there.
I believe the setting has prepared our daughters for school very well. Both are doing really well in their schools and have adopted the change in settings without any problems. Our daughters have thrived under their care, developing both academically and socially.
The curriculum is well-rounded and thoughtfully designed, incorporating play-based learning that keeps the children excited and engaged. We’ve seen our daughters grow in creativity, critical thinking, and confidence. The variety of activities, from art and music to outdoor play, ensures that they are stimulated and happy every day. The inclusion of growing plants in the garden, playing with the animals and regular cooking is just a step above what I have seen elsewhere. The summer garden play just seems remarkable with water play, splash pools, slides and sprinklers. I don't know where else you can find this level of enjoyment for the children in a nursery setting.
Communication has also been a highlight of our experience. The nursery provides daily updates on our daughters’ progress, and the open-door policy made it easy for us to connect with the staff whenever we had questions.
In summary, we couldn’t have asked for a better environment for our daughters during these formative years. We are incredibly grateful for everything they’ve done for our family! I am so happy with what Hui An has done for us i'd be happy to speak to anyone considering sending their children here.

Our son has been going to Hui since he was less than one year old and now he is going to school. Hui is so organised and has prepared my son very well for school. My son has learned so much from her setting such as phonics, numbers and even simple maths. Apart from teaching, she also pays lots of attention on establishing the basic skills for kids (my son is our little helper when we cook dinner now!). My son also loves to go to her. We feel it’s a very positive and friendly environment for kids to grow and flourish. The communication is very good, we receive lots of photos and updates everyday, which make us feel that we are not missing too much of all those little moments of my son. Thank you so much Hui for all the help that you provide us along the journey. We will certainly be back as we are not ready to say goodbye yet!!

My DD has been with Hui for more than a year and no words can tell how happy I am with the choice of childcare for my child. I agree with all the reviews said about Hui. She exceeded my expectation of childminding with very brilliant planned early years education week for week in a clean setting with childfriendly pets! Her setting is just amazing to encourage independence (montessori practice), safe and plenty of stuff to keep the children occupied. My DD has thrived aboved expectation as well as enforcing good manners thanks to this place! Hui is very experienced and helpful, providing very useful guidance on how to support good behaviours and other useful parenting tips. She keeps you well informed of your child throughout the day with messages and photos.
I love that this setting celebrates all special holidays such as ramadan/easter/christmas/chinese new year etc teaching the children everything about those special days. They also bake/cook together from time to time!
I would strongly recommend Hui to anyone looking for an amazing childminder!

My son has been going to Hui's setting for about 2 months now and already I can see how well he is developing. He learns so much each day he goes and I'm so happy I chose Hui An for my son. There are so many things for the children to do and I love that each week has a specific focus. Greatly appreciate the hard work that Hui An and her lovely assistant do. Thank you!

Little Panda Childminder is the most caring and loving environment I could ever imagine. My DD is thriving since joining in. Her language and interpersonal skills has blossomed. She is always super excited about going in. She learns so much every day. Hui and team are kind, gentle, professional and positive. Just the best!! I would recommend to any parent that is worried about their little ones settling in. Lovely, colourful, warm setting and super accommodating Childminders. Feels like second home. I could not recommend enough.

My son Austin started to come to little panda from September this year. From the first day until now he has never cried not to come to little panda which is a great signal for us. Both my husband and I are so happy to make this right decision. We speak Chinese at home, and hoped that he can grow up in a bilingual language environment which made Little Panda perfect for us.
Hui and Debbie are very thoughtful teachers who put a lot of thought into how they present the material. Everyday activities were engaging, useful, they’re very patient with everyone in the group, always encouraging them to try.
Actually Hui is the most experienced child minder I’ve ever met. She is also very happy to help and guide us with any parenting problems. Hui also recommends some very practical and useful information and training lesson that is very helpful.
Despite having to drive two hours a day to Little Panda, we thought it was very much worth it. I would highly recommend Little Panda to anyone interested.

We found Little Panda through a personal recommendation and feel so lucky that they had a space for our son who was just one year old at that time. Hui and Debbie are both very patient, friendly and are so good with children. My son definitely enjoys his time there. They send regular updates about your kid’s day which makes me feel that I didn’t miss out too much of my son’s day even though I’m at work. We would definitely recommend Little Panda to other parents. Thank you very much Hui and Debbie.

Leaving your little one is always nerve wracking as a first time parent. Our girl started here when she was 1 years old, she settled in quickly despite having been in lockdown and it didn't take us long to have peace of mind we had made the right decision.
The range and creativity behind their activities are beyond my imagination! Some activities that come to mind are an Easter egg hunt, experimenting with items that float and sink, baby yoga, (so cute!), growing plants, life cycle of a frog displayed in jelly, celebrating Chinese new year/Eid/Diwali/Xmas/Birthdays which comes with cooking, painting, crafting, dancing ..Recently the children have been learning phonetics so they are bringing in items with the letters they are practicing for the week. Hoi An prepares the children lovely fresh home cooked meals and snacks. She has a well kept outdoor space, fish, rabbits, visiting birds, range of plants, outdoor equipment and indoor toys/books/crafting items. In the recent hot weather, the children have been playing in an inflatable pool, and having a lovely time. We are updated everyday, both Debbie and Hui An are experienced, warm and treat your children like their own, you can tell they love what they do, with a home from home environment.
Even though we are moving home 30 minutes away, we will continue with Little Panda school because we know the quality of care we have found is priceless and we are so happy we found this place. You will not be disappointed.

After our childminder closed down due to covid in oct 2020 we rushed to find somewhere new for our then 16month old. After visiting a number a childminders it was clear little pandas was the only place I wanted to send her.
What an incredible place for little ones!
We loved the constant ourdoor access , attention to detail within the activities, the fact they keep animals ( rabbits and fish), and over all the loving atmosphere.
Our little girl settled very quickly given the circumstances of moving so fast, and both Debby and Hui have become favourites in our house !
We love they focus on multi cultural events through the year, do baking and both arts/crafts and also more educational type of activities with the kids.
The food they serve has good variety, and our little one always eats so well!
They teach great values to the kids too.
I would reccomend little pandas to all parents!

We were so fortunate to have found Hui and Debbie. They are so incredibly loving and caring that the nursery is a home from home. We absolutely love the place! Both my daughters have gone there and loved every minute. They have learned so much and have had such memorable experiences that, even after leaving to go to school, they speak fondly about their time there. For our eldest we did see and attend a number of local nurseries, but none have the nurturing and close attention that we experienced at Little Pandas that we had no hesitation in sending our second child. I highly recommend Little Pandas, and confidently state, it will be the best decision you will make.

My daughter and I love this Montessori mini nursery! Hui and Debby are excellent professional carers. They offer the children a variety of nurturing activities both creative and academic (I do not know how they can come up with so many ideas!). My daughter also enjoys various hands-on activities they offer quite frequently such as cooking and baking and she is now good at slicing vegetable skins and chopping vegetables into pieces. What I also like about Little Panda is that they have weekly planned activities which are organised according to seasons, cultural festivities and children’s development. They organise so many outdoor activities whenever the weather is good. They take children to greenery open field where they pick up plants and learn about them and enjoy singing and playing together. Hui also has a beautiful spacious garden where she kept rabbits and fish and children can enjoy a variety of playground activities and pick up fruit. What I am impressed about their method is that they use all sorts of objects and materials instead of depending on IT and screen materials. They also pay full attention to the children wherever they are and whatever they do. So I have always peace of mind when my energetic daughter is in their hand. Personally I appreciate all sorts of their advice whenever I am in need for my cheeky daughter. Little Panda Montessori is such a precious little kinder garden. I highly recommend it!

Both my sons have been attending little panda since they are 8 months old, one of them is 4 years old now and starting school, the other is 21 months and will continue on to attend our favourite nursery until he is ready for school.
The nursery is always clean and they have very high hygiene standards, packed full of toys, constantly adding new things, always offer fun activities encouraging children to participate, there's educational tools to suite every child's needs. It's a plus that they also do outing like picnics, play groups and library trips.
They offer healthy balanced meals, they also include the kids in the cooking process- how fun is that !
My boys are always loved and looked after at little panda and I can see how eager they are to go - sometimes they even want to go over the weekend!
Our journey at little panda is a ray of sunshine, nothing but positive, delightful, full of good vibes every step of the way.

Our son has been going to Panda Montessori since he was 2 years old. He'll be turning 7 this year and still spends a few hours a week there after being collected from school.
Over this period, he has spent a large amount of time with Anhui, Debbie and the team who have been such a positive influence in his life.
The environment provided for the babies allows them to grow into happy and well mannered young children.
The range of activities on offer means the kids are always trying new things and developing different experiences, that we as working parents, might not have been able to offer at home on such a regular basis.
The staff go the extra mile, giving all the children the attention they need, which makes us feel assured about the well being of our son. They treat the children as their own and maintain very high standards of care and safety.
Our son still looks forward to going and seeing everyone at Panda, as all his experiences over the years have been nothing but positive.
If you are considering a place for your child, you will be hard pushed to find a better and more loving environment for them. We feel it was one of the best decisions we made for our son simply because of how happy he is there. Panda has become an extended part of our family and we were lucky to have them play such an important role in the care of our son.

My son started going to Little Panda from age 12-months-old and straight away there was an amazing connection that reassured me that I made a great decision. I cannot imagine him going anywhere else. Little Panda’s home is so safe, clean and inviting, it’s the perfect environment for children of all ages. They take the children to a local children’s centre to attend toddler groups and the library to encourage them to get used to reading books. Now my son absolutely loves books. They also have lots of activities at home, including cooking!
Every time I pick up my son at the end of the day, he comes home with a big smile on his face and I can tell he is so loved and taken care. It is truly my son’s second home and they are family to us.

As new parents, My husband and I were so keen to find a family/friendly place to help our baby boy develop, grow and learn.
We found all what we've been looking for and even more at little panda house :)
Both Hui and Debbie are amazing with children, they are very supportive to families and try to accommodate the needs of both the parents and the kids.
My boy started with them as a baby and he was loved, pampered, taken care of and he grew and developed beautifully under the care of these two brilliant ladies. They've always helped me alot as a new mother with advice, pointers and they've been sharing their experience which is extremely valued and appreciated.
it's a family friendly setting with lots af toys, activities, water play, garden time, Library trips, social groups and non ending educational fun.
They offer freedom for kids to explore around. They provide balanced meals and healthy snacks for kids.
I don't really consider either Hui or Debbie as childminder, they are truly family to us and from baby to toddler my son absolutely adores them always going there very happy and sometimes don't to leave.
I am having a second baby and I wouldn't really trust to leave the baby when I go back to work under any care other than at Little panda house.

My daughter has been attending nursery at Little Panda since July 2013 and she is about to finish because I am on maternity leave after the arrival of a baby girl.
Little Panda and Hui offer a nursery for a small number of children in the family home with lots of room for play and learning in facilities including a large play room, a lovely garden and deck. My daughter has had an outstanding experience and I could not have been happier with how she has developed socially and personally while in Hui's care. My daughter has enjoyed every day and developed in confidence in a very happy environment.
My intention is to use Little Panda again when I return to work if there is space for my two children in this outstanding nursery.
