About Me
Hi, I am a married mum of three. I have two daughters aged 25 and 21, and a son who is 14. I was a stay-at-home mum to my two girls until they were both in full-time school, then I studied and got my NVQ2 in Children's Care Learning and Development. After I passed, I worked as a nursery nurse in a playgroup, until I left to have my son in 2010.
Since 2015 I have worked as a preschool practitioner at a local primary school. I left this position in March 2024.
Raising my three children has always been my priority and I am a very sociable,creative, hands-on parent and childcarer, attending play groups, mother and toddler groups, music groups etc.
I have always treated other children as I would want my own to be treated, with love and attention.
My Experience
I learnt a lot about early years studying for my NVQ and put it all into practice working at the playgroup.
Working at the preschool for the past nine years means I have a deeper understanding of the needs of children. I also attended several training days including paediatric first aid in 2022, Positive Behaviour, Multi Sensory Song and Rhyme Time to name a few.
For the past academic year I was Language Lead at the setting.
