About Me

Hi my name is Mackenzie, I am a Level 3 qualified childcare provider. I spent summer of 2013 on the Island of Mallorca, running a children's club within a large hotel. I returned to the UK to work full time in a day nursery, providing activities, care, and feedback as a key worker for a group of young children. As my parents have a business in Palma, I spent the summer of 2014, Nannying for a Spanish family which enabled me to spend more time in on the Island. I then returned to the UK being remployed within the same day nursery, working part time, providing a safe, caring and fun environment for the children in my care. I also worked part time as a nanny. I would attend group activities, personal care of the children, preparing and serving, lunch and dinner. We would take trips to the local park, beaches, library, playdates and groups around the community. I would also do school drop off and picks up. Always providing nurturing care and fun for the children. In January 2019 I decided to travel Australia. Continuing my passion for childcare, I took on another nanny job, looking after 3 children.
As I am returning home in September I would love to find another family I can become a part of, providing fun and loving childcare.
I have both paediatric first aid certificate and food an hygiene, along with a up to date, CRB check. I feel I have a lot to offer, to a family with young children as I am friendly, flexible, confident and with lots of experience in all areas of early years care. I am looking forward to a new challenge, supporting a local family with their childcare needs, ensuring the children are Well cared for and provided with, fun activities.
