About Me
Hi my name is Manda I have been in my current job nearly 6 years for two doctors who are a family of 6 helping them with their two youngest and three of the boys are teens now, all going to be at big school from September so no longer needed, Please note I have two small super friendly dogs called Ron and Reg both 7 years old so need to find a family happy for them to be around the children they have spent lots of time around children and other dogs since they were puppies, I am happy to have children at mine I have a nice big house with a large enclosed garden, i have got 28 years experience as a nanny and have done a number of courses inc child psychology diploma,first aid,health and safety and mnt early years training.I have an up to date DBS check and i am registered with ofsted.I have lots of excellent references all with numbers available on request.I have experience of children from birth onwards i have no children of my own so i am very flexible and reliable with my own car with full insurance to travel with children.I am outgoing fun and caring and really enjoy looking after children and i love animals, I love swimming and days out especially longleat i love doing creative things with the children. I am 47 years old and I have worked in childcare all my working life and is all i ever wanted and want to do its my dream job and i have loved every minute of it and loved all the children i have cared for and am still in touch with most of the families.I would like to be in sole charge of the children if poss as I find that works better and just work for one family at a time do can be totally flexible to the family I'm working for
My Experience
i have 28 years experience as a nanny i have excellent refs and i have had lots of experience with children of all ages.I have worked in nurseries and schools ,and in Brewsters restaurant fun factory as a group leader. i have done some teaching assistant work also. My refs are available as written and can call my former employers at anytime for a chat.
My Qualifications
First aid trained, child psychology diploma,crb checked,ofsted registered,health hygiene and safety cert,mnt trained in early years childcare fully insured.

We had the privilege to be the first family who had the benefits of Mandas skills care and love for our girls.
She was there from when our daughters were 2 and 4 and until they were 6 and 8 and now they are 29 ns 31 one with kids of her own. And we all feel that she is still very much part of our life and family.
Even as a young Woman she had the patience, maturity and commitmentthan a more experienced person. Totally trustworthy and caring AND careful which was very important for us when we both worked full time. Flexibility was also very important to us. 28 years on she has helped out many kids and their parents. She was a god send for us at the time and my "girls" still talk with fond memories of her In face our youngest with two small kids under five would love to be able to employ her but she lives in Portugal !!! so not possible

Amanda looked after our little girl Clementine during the summer holidays in 2024 for 5 weeks. She was absolutely fantastic with our 4 year old daughter Clementine. Always punctual and on time, very reliable, never letting us down and a fantastic communicator.
Amanda provided some wonderful activities for Clementine throughout the summer and Clemmie always came home very happy, telling us of the adventures she'd had. I would thoroughly recommend Amanda as a nanny, and can attest to her character. If it wasn't for the fact that our daughter started full time education we would have continued with Amanda's services, and I know Clementine would have loved to continue seeing her and the two little doggies!

Manda helped us with our son who is struggling with school attendance due to anxiety. She was incredibly kind, flexible and generous.

Amanda cared for our son for almost 2 years from the age of 11 months.
Arthur settled in with Amanda and her two loving dogs immediately and never looked back. She has provided a perfect balance of outdoor fun and adventure mixed with indoor, more restful activities. Amanda has also been extremely accommodating when Arthur is feeling under the weather, and will match the day accordingly. As I work, I have relied heavily on Amanda to take care of Arthur week in week out. She has never let me down, and has been extremely flexible if I have needed her to change hours or days, even at short notice.
I highly recommend Amanda, and would be happy to have a chat if you would like to discuss anything.
