We took our son Damon out of childcare for a year as I had another baby and was at home full time but after that time had passed we went straight back to Leah!
He is a very energetic but has learnt to listen, be kind to others (he used to hit and bite) and sit still to listen to Leah reading books. Leah sets up play doh, painting and trains which he loves there’s always a range of activities. It’s also great that they go out for the day like to the farm and blue reef he loves to tell me about what he saw. Whenever we get ready for the day he will always ask ‘are we going to Leah’s house’ even on days he doesn’t go.
We are currently potty training him which Leah is incredibly supportive of. She has given us some ideas on how to get him out of nappies like a star chart.
He has also learnt what numbers look like and can match the word to the visual he has also become very curious about letters.
We hope to send our daughter one day as we are very impressed with the level of care and progression Damon is making.

Our daughter has been with Leah for a couple of years now, and we couldn't be happier with Leah as a childminder. Our daughter has a genetic condition, and Leah tailors the care beautifully to help and accommodate her special needs. We can see that our daughter is progressing almost daily, and that's a lot to do with Leah's care. She will, for instance, spend time with our daughter in her walker, to help her progress with her mobility. Our daughter is now using a fork, and sitting up unaided, which are incredible steps forward, and so much of this is due to Leah's patience and dedication to helping our daughter in these areas.
In addition, our daughter absolutely loves going to Leah's. When we arrive outside the door, she gets excited to see Leah, and is totally at ease in the setting. She is really well integrated too with the other (non special-needs) kids that Leah looks after, and we really appreciate this integration, as it definitely helps with her progress and socialisation.
Finally, I say go the extra mile for many reasons, but here's an example that is extraordinary. I'm English, but her mum is French, so our daughter is being brought up bilingual, and Leah takes French classes on duolinguo in order to practise French with her! Simply incredible.
In short, we feel very lucky to have found such a lovely, professional, dedicated and caring childminder.

Rose is an absolute joy to look after
Our son loves coming to Leah’s. She does so much with the children which we are so grateful for. She is so fun and bubbly and all the children love her. I love the updates and photos I get when I am at work. Couldn’t wish for a better person to look after our son.

We love bringing my Son Damon to a Leah’s he started with her when he was 8months old as we wanted him to have more one on one time as he was young and didn’t want to leave him in a nursery. Leah is great as she takes them out and does more with him on the days he’s there than we can do as a full time worker and my husband as a uni student. We also love getting pictures on the days he’s so the Leah 🥰 he has grown so much with her!

Our son has been with Leah for 6 months now and my god what a difference she has made!
We made the decision at Christmas to move him out of a nursery and into a childminder, due to wanting him to get more one on one support.
Leah is amazing, she’s helped us and our son develop so much in these six months. Always encouraging to try new things, takes the kids out at least once a day (weather permitting), send regular updates and pictures.
We couldn’t be happier with Leah’s care and would highly recommend her to anyone needing a childminder in the area.
Leah you have changed our life! Thank you!

Leah is a great childminder, and has taken care of our daughter so well. She's really helpful, friendly and our daughter loves being there. They do lots of really nice things, like going to her allotment, going out into the countryside, and you get a lovely write-up each day about what they have done. I couldn't be happier with her as a childminder, and would highly recommend her.

We have been with Leah for 10 months now and we are very glad we have found her! Our daughter (now 16 month) enjoyed Leah from day one and is always super happy to go at her place. Our daughter has some special needs and Leah has been a very open-minded childminder since the beginning. We feel really lucky about it and feel very confident that she will provide the best care to our little one.
Leah is super lovely, flexible and funny and it is always a pleasure to bring or pick up our daughter. Leah offers plenty of activities to the children in her care. Even if our daugther is still litlle, she enjoys the company of the others and is taking part in the forest and beach walks, gardening activities, visits to the aquarium, etc. When our daugther was younger, Leah booked at several occasions a sensorial room for her so that she could get an optimal environment to fully develop. Leah always provides a summary of the activities they did during the day and we really enjoy reading about it. She sends some pictures through Whatsapp as well, which is reassuring. Our daughter is doing amazingly well in Leah's care and so far, she has never been sick which is I guess an advantage compared to larger settings.
Leah really is fantastic, and we feel extremely grateful that our daughter is being cared for by her :)

Our little boy has been going to Leah’s since he was 14 months (now 30 months) and he has loved it since day 1! On the days he doesn’t go to Leah he is always asking when we’re going to Leah’s and when he’s going to get to see Bruce and his friends!
He’s learnt so much from Leah and comes home everyday with something new! She also provides lunch and so he gets to try new things I wouldn’t necessarily make
She’s flexible and super accommodating and has a genuine love for her job and the children she cares for.
Even with covid she has done all sorts with the children and has kept things as normal as possible so the children are anxious about the pandemic etc
All in all I couldn’t recommend Leah anymore than I do! She’s fabulous

My two year old has been going to Leahs for a year now and he loves spending his time there with his friends. Leah always sends picture updates with the activities they have been doing and has a really lovely relationship with him. Leah also is willing to be flexible and has a fun energy which the kids love!

We have been with Leah now for a year and I cannot speak highly enough about her. Our now almost 2 year old daughter from day one has loved going to Leah’s!
Leah has a warm, inviting, caring personality and it was immediately evident that we made a great choice in terms of childcare. Leah does so much with children in her care, from music groups to trips to Staunton farm, to beach days, playground visits, and even while at home-the paddling pool comes out or the children can play in the garden. It’s never easy to leave your child but Leah makes it easy as she develops such a strong bond with the children in her care that you know they are with the next best thing to you. She’s flexible and accommodating and our daughter has rarely been sick (a huge benefit being with a childminder vs nursery in my opinion). She really is a gem, and we are so glad that our daughter is being cared for by her!

Leah has been amazing for our son from when he joined at 11 months. He settled so quickly and the care provided by Leah is excellent.
The home environment is stimulating with lots of toys and activities available, and the range and number of groups that the children attend, alongside the activities outside the home like the aquarium, farm etc makes me really happy as a parent that every day is so varied for Archie. His learning and development has come on brilliantly, and more than anything, he is so happy to be going there, and has built a fantastic bond with Leah.
I couldn’t recommend Leah highly enough, she is an excellent childminder!

Leah has provided exception holiday childcare for my little one whilst her pre-school was closed and will do so in the future too. I have total confidence in Leah and know that my daughter is secure, safe and having a truly wonderful time, so much so that my lg has been pestering me all morning to go there on what is meant to be a fun day with myself. My lg settled in very quickly and I had no concerns at all whilst there. Leah provides a warm welcoming environment, lots of play/educational activities and a daily outdoor activity. At the end of the day you receive a report of your child's activities, what they have ate, what they took a special interest in amongst other useful pieces of information.
One very pleased mum and daughter and I can not wait for the next school holidays as I know my little one loved her time with Leah so much.

Whenever I drop off my son with Leah in the morning, I know he'll return home happy and have loads of fun. I know he'll go to playgroup, park, farm, playground, aquarium or have a nice walk on the beach. He'll play, sing, dance, paint with other children at Leah's care or those he meets at playgroup. It was like this when my son first went to Leah's care in September 2014 when he was ten months old. He's a happy toddler now and he still enjoys going to Leah's two years later. Leah not only looks after Matthew but also shows great appreciation for the other half of non-British cultural heritage that is part of Matthew's growing-up experiences. Leah's help has become an essential part of our family life!

Leah has been our childminder for almost 5 months. From the first day our child started she has been settled, she arrives smiling and happy to see Leah and when we collect her she is happy.
Our daughter loves the environment and the other children. She receives plenty of input and stimulation. We are very happy and confident with the provisions Leah provides.

Leah has been looking after my 20 month old for the last 6 months. We had started him at a nursery but he was really unhappy so we decided to try a child minder instead. After just two days there were no more tears, and within a week or so he was happily running into her arms without a backward glance - we couldn't believe it! Leah provides a really happy and secure environment for all the children she looks after, and does such a range of activities it's hard to know how she fits it all in! She is promoting my son's development in all areas and we regularly discuss his achievements and how we can work together to encourage further development. I feel as though she has truly listened to me in terms of what's important to me and how my son is looked after, and she often has really useful suggestions to tackle any problems, based on her broad experience in child care. It is such a lovely touch to receive photos every day that show what he's been up to and how happy he is! Couldn't recommend her more highly.

Leah is an absolute godsend - she just amazing with my little boy (now nearly 2) who has been with her for 18months. I love that Leah always gets the children out and about, going to playgroups, the library and the park. I never worry when D is with Leah as she is clearly patient and kind and well trained in every aspect of child care. I love that D runs up laughing and smilling to her door, and hardly looks back as I leave for work. But that's not surprising as at Leahs he gets to paint, draw, plant, run, cook, play and read - what child wouldn't look forward to that! Leahs' house provides a roomy safe environment for children to grow and explore. I also love that her record keeping notes, diarys and pictures will provide D with a lasting record of his early years with Leah.

I have two girls (aged 8 and 6) who go to Leah's before and after school. They both love it there with a wide and varied range of activities available to them both indoors and out. They always seem to want to do just one more thing when I pick them up in the evening and my car slowly fills with the stuff that they make to bring home, whether a Mothers Day card, a plant they have grown or biscuits that they have made. I feel a bit guilty I never manage to do half the things she does with them in the evening! Can not recommend her enough!

Leah has looked after my 2 girls (currently 8 and 6) before and after school for the past 3 1/2 years. In this time I have been constantly impressed with the way she has cared for, entertained, engaged, cajoled, comforted and supported my children. A good childminder is hard to find and Leah is a gem. She genuinely cares about the children and wants to make sure their time with her is positive, stimulating and happy. despite only being there for brief periods of time, I am amazed at the craft activities; outside play; educational games and fun that Leah manages to fit in with my children. I also like the fact that they learn about and celebrate key events and festivals from a vast range of different cultures and religions. I feel my children's lives are enhanced by their time at Leah's and I would recommend her warmly.

Leah has been looking after my little girl from the age of 6 months. My little girl is now 4 and LOVES her days at Leah's. She always comes home with great stories of things they have done and Leah has always encouraged her to explore, play & learn. I go to work safe in the knowledge that my daughter is safe and very well cared for. Leah genuinely loves all the children she cares for and this is reflected in how much my daughter loves Leah. I couldn't fault her in any way.
