I am a very organised, committed and hardworking individual. I am extremely passionate about working with children as I find it incredibly enjoyable and rewarding. I am a quick learner and I enjoy a challenge; I pride myself on being able to work under pressure using my own initiative to solve problems or issues that may arise in any working environment. I also pride myself on being reliable and trustworthy which are incredibly important characteristics to have when working with children.
I have always spent time caring for children as an older sister to three younger siblings. A lot of my time at home was spent caring for, entertaining and generally providing help and support within our household in every aspect of their care. I also undertook babysitting from the age of 15 for local families.

During my time as a nanny I have provided care for children from new born through to the age of 12.
My duties in the above roles included meal preparation, organising fun and educational activities within the children’s home and outdoors, or at organised groups. Keeping to the routines and specific needs of each child, whilst always ensuring the safety and security of the children.
In my nanny role in Scotland I had the additional responsibility of providing care for a child who had Haemophilia. As his main day time caring I ensured I equipped myself with the necessary medical information and requirements of this complex condition.

I just want to say that this person really helped me with looking after my 3 year old daughter for some odd days during a holiday period when I needed time for myself. She was proactive in suggesting some farm visits for my daughter, through her own contacts. This was a wonderful idea as my daughter was so happy to see the newborn lambs, it really made the holiday time special. The nanny was always reliable and punctual and I felt very confident in her.
