About Me
Hi my name is Janette an Ofsted registered childcare practitioner with 25 years experience. I live together with my son in the Swanley area within easy reach of Swanley mainline railway station. My son is in full time employment, we are all DBS checked. My two other grown up children have their own families, my son a carpenter and my daughter works here as my assistant. Other family members are our pet dogs called mitzee (toy poodle x lakeland terrier), max and Lily (cockapoos) who are excellent with children but are kept separate from the children). We are a happy fun-loving family, living in a non-smoking, safe, stimulating environment where the number 1 priority is the children's happiness and well-being. I love children, I love my job and feel that I have a lot to offer the children, good role model, caring, patient, approachable and I treat all children the same, equally and as if they were my own. I offer both structured/free-play sessions including craft/messy play, following the EYFS and working in partnership with the parents to help the children achieve and progress within their development. Dietary requirements can be discussed at interview. We have regular outings within the local community: parks, soft play, library, sing-along groups, toddler groups, nature walks and other age/stage appropriate activities in the school holidays. I am able to drop off and collect from pre-schools, schools, care for children all day and in the school holidays. I have a dedicated play room for the children adjoining the dining area and garden. I have excellent quality resources and equipment for all ages/stages of development.
My Experience
Registered since May 1998 having 25 years working experience, caring for children from birth upwards and previous to that having experience of bringing up my own family. Experience of caring for children with special needs. Excellent references held on file and referees whom are more than happy to confirm this.
My Qualifications
Cache Level 3 Diploma in home-based childcare achieving an overall grade of an A, paediatric first aider, CRB checked, safeguarding, health and hygiene, baby sign language, keeping children safe, play, all in a days work, parent and childminder relationships,business management, professional approach, service statements,managing children's behaviour and observation, assessment & planning parts 1,2, and 3. Registered with data protection, membership with PACEY and hold public liability insurance.
My Availability
I am available Monday to Friday from 6am to 8pm, may be available Saturday and Sunday if required. I am very flexible and additional hours/times may be arranged,

As the title suggests, since our son has been with Janette (he started at about 9 months old), he has been absolutely thriving. The children regularly go on outings and have activities planned and it is clear that they all enjoy being there!
Janette is brilliant with him, and all the other children, and as a parent I feel very safe with the knowledge he is being well looked after.

I could not ask for a better childminder. Janette is brilliant with my 4 year old daughter who often comes home telling me stories of activities they have done and where they have been during the day. I would highly recommend Jeanette and would defiantly use her again.

My Son has been with Janette since he was 10 months and he is now turning 3. We love Janette and since being with her his development and confidence has improved significantly. He loves going to Janette's and looks forward to his days with her.
Janette is a warm, caring and friendly person and we would recommend her to anyone as they would be as happy with her service as we are!

My daughter has been with Janette since she was 5 months old. She loves going there and gets so much stimulation that she was ahead of her peers speaking. Janette is kind and trustworthy and i couldnt recommend her highly enough. In fact i hae recommended her to friends andtheir children now go there too.
