My Summary

My Experience

I have been babysitting for the past 24yrs with various of families and children and ive been working as a nanny or in a nursery for 20years .
I have also worked as a Mothers Help where i helped & assisted the mum with her newborn and 2year old .
When I've been in nurseries I worked in all rooms-baby room,tweenie room and pre school room but predominantly the Tweenies room.

My first nanny position was for a family who i was with for 7/8 years both as a live in and live out nanny in London and in Norfolk as they had a home in london&norfolk .
I often cared for the children and the house on my own in norfolk day and night for 4days while parents went to work in london or if parents were working away on a job it could be 2wks that if have sole care of the children day+night. I also travelled and worked away in various places with them a lot too.When i started the children were 2 and a half and newborn.
I carried out all nursery duties eg childrens washing and ironing,tidying bedrooms,preparing childrens meals childrens shop etc.I would entertain and organise indoor and outdoor activities,taking chilren on outings, groups and swimming,homework etc.
I would carry out bedtime routines eg bath time, getting them to bed and would deal with any situations that may occur in the night.
I would look after the home aswell.

I have nannied full time for a family in harrogate where the children were 3 and 6.

I have worked as a temporary nanny/mothers help job for 2-3 months in menston.I helped look after a very active 1yr old boy with his grandma.

Then for 3 years i worked sole charge for 2days a week looking after twins (they were 8 months when i started). I carried out all nursery jobs,took them to groups and activities, mealtimes, bathtime and carried out general care for them both.
The position came to an end due to going to nursery before they started school.

I use to work 3 days as a before and after school nanny for 2 teenagers and then I full days in the school holidays . I help with homework, take them to after school activities, meals , kids washing etc. I also help out by taking their dogs out for a walk and if I have spare time and have finished all child related jobs then I will do some light housework. In school holidays I plan activities and trips for the kids. I was in this position for 4 years .

For 6yrs I have been helping out a family with their twins since they were newborn and have done overnights with them.

My previous nanny positions were 2 days for a family and I started when the little boy was 8months and was with them for 3.5yrs .And then I nannied for another family for 2days and the children were 8months and 2.5yrs.

I finished nannying in March for a family with whom I’ve been with for18months.
When I started the youngest was 10months old and eldest was 5. I did the school runs, after school activities, helped with homework etc . With the youngest, I took to groups , nappy changes, sleep routines , activities etc.
I would plan/organise age appropriate activities for both children.
I carried out the nursery duties- making their beds etc , bathtime /bedtime routines .

Since I finished with that family I nannied for 2 children for 9months- 2 days a week and on the other 2 days I nannied and currently do for a family with one little boy who is now 4 and will be going to school in September . And for the past 10/11months I’ve nannied for a lovely family with 3 under 3.5yrs & who I sadly finished with in February . I have also helped out 2 other families as a ad hoc nanny .

I have also babysat at a wedding for the bride and grooms little boy and look after him at the wedding and wedding breakfast/reception and then it continued into the evening back at their home.
Ive also babysit for another bride and grooms two boys who I babysat for at the hotel.

With the younger children I always record in a daily diary what activities, meals, sleeps etc so then parents can have a visual record of what their child has done etc.
I also use photos as observations and to also use to make up memory books for parents to have a visual record of their development and activities etc. I will send photos daily via WhatsApp or lifecake daily .
I carry out nursery duties too.

My Qualifications

I went to college for 2 years and left with a BTEC National Diploma in Childhood Studies. I have a up to date Paediatric First Aid - recently renewed January 2018 and Ive also done a training course in persona dolls and disability inclusion and i have also carried out a Makaton course and an autism awareness course.
I currently take charges to a sign and sign class which I have taken a great interest in too.
I have lots of good references- All who you can contact and speak too and I have written references from them aswell.
I am DBS checked ( previously known as a crb) and on the update service which means you can check my dbs online.
I am ofsted registered ( and have been for the past 10yrs ). If you need me to be ofsted registered then assisting with the payment (which is required on a yearly basis ) is required as it greatly benefits you. I also have nanny insurance too.
All my documents are available to be seen on request .

I have lots of excellent references -all who are more than happy to talk to you and I also have lots of excellent written references.

I have a clean driving licence and im insured to transport children.

My Availability

NANNY- No longer looking for a nanny position .

BABYSITTING-
weekends- during the day ,the evening or overnight at the weekend.
WEDDING/EVENT Nannying -I also offer babysitting for weddings/events at the weekends and so happy to be in hotels etc.

My Fees

• Nannying from £12.00 per hour (gross)

NANNY-
•Employed as a Nanny- from £11 -£12 per hour gross -
Babysitting - £8-£10 an hr
