About Me
Hey there! My name is Karima and I would describe myself as a fun loving, energentic, responsible and caring person towards children. Through my experience in working with children many would describe me as funny, creative and someone who thrives to make children and those who I work with happy. If I didn't have childcare in my life, I wouldn't know what else I'd be doing. It's one of the best jobs I lead myself in for and love every minute of it. I pride myself in making education as fun and creative as possible, which not only increases children's attention and focus but heightens their motivation to want to learn more.

My Experience
I have been working with children mainly in nurseries since 2007. Started off as a nursery assistant from the age of 19 and a year later I got promoted to working as a nursery nurse since then, including leading two babyrooms, looking after children from ages 4 weeks old to 4 years of age. Throughout my experience of child care, I also have been and still currently do babysitting services for a variety of different families, looking after children as young as 7 weeks old to ages 9. The babysitting varied of a full day or half day (daytime or nighttime). I have also worked closely with children with Special Needs of Autism and Downs Syndrome and currently part-time babysitting for a child who suffers from Glanzmann's thrombasthenia.

Makaton (sign language for children and adults with Special Needs)

CAVA qualification (Childcare Assessor)
My Availability
I am currently available for full time work Monday to Friday and happy to babysit any evening during those days as well. My weekends are reserved for rest and travelling outside of London to visit family and friends.
