May 2015 - July 2018
Nanny and household manager for a private family in London. I acted as a full-time nanny for a young child and played an active role in managing the household. This included supporting the child in her development, planning weekly activities and organising parties and other events. I also carried out administrative tasks for a busy professional family such as communicating with the child’s nursery, making sure that invoices were paid and engaging technicians to maintain the house. I needed to manage a large number of competing pressures, use my initiative to address unexpected problems, and cope with long working hours.
I started and the baby girls it was 3 months old and I have been sole charge nanny including the transition to solid foods and the potty training.
September 2018- 2021
Nanny,P.A and household manager for a family in Putney/ Wimbledon.
Provide childcare for two children, a one year old baby boy (W) and a three year old baby boy (F). I have looked after the three year old since he was a baby through to his attending nursery and have continued to look after him before and after nursery times. During the daytime I now look after the one year old full time as his nanny. I have therefore been tasked with all nanny duties such as feeding him his baby his formula, helping with the food transition to solids(weaning), cooking nutritious heathy meals the children and for the family. Planning both children’s daily activities schedules and encouraging and supporting their development educationally, socially, mentally and physically. I take the children to lots of classes, from swimming, music classes and baby sensory classes to days out such as at the zoo and museums. I arrange good learning activities and spend a lot of time reading to them to help with language and speech development and also play games to help develop their motor skills and help them reach their learning milestones with language, numeracy, fine motor skills, spatial awareness, balance and teaching them how to care for themselves such as bathe and dress and potty training.
On occasions I have also been asked to look after F and W’s cousins as well my two charges and therefore have managed to entertain and care for four children under the age of 4.
PA role:
In the week, during the baby rest times I help the busy mother with PA tasks. These include managing the mother’s business diary, booking in various work appointments, paying company bills, dealing with deliveries, organizing travel arrangements and packing for overseas work trips.
House management role:
I also organize the shopping for the household, keep a ledger of household bills and manage the household by overseeing the housekeeping and cleaning duties by the cleaner and oversee technicians who maintain the house as the family like to keep a very orderly home and space
Nanny & Household Manager
Private family in London
Feb 2019 – Present – 2 days per week
I provide childcare support at the weekends for a professional working family for their three year old boy and have helped the family since Z was 8 months old. I have been tasked with all nanny duties from planning weekend activities, planning weekly nutritional meals, checking on health and educational development. Z as a baby had issues with his feeding formula, quite bad teething pain that led to regular high temperatures and required a degree of pain management as his teeth came through and some unusual skin rashes that I kept under review for the family. Z also has a speech development issue and I have worked with the family to ensure there is plenty of reading time and appropriate educational games and activities to help with language and speech development and follow the speech therapist’s recommendations. All Z’s clothes, books and toys are regularly checked to ensure they are in good order.
For the family I help the mother with many of the household tasks such as weekly food planning, shopping and preparation, packing and organizing for family trips away, help her keep the home in good order, such as help book maintenance appointments, organize the rooms and help with regular decluttering. I also keep on top of their pet’s health who takes medication and feed their dog.
As Z grows older, Z’s mother has asked for me to consider working extra hours for trips abroad and to take on PA tasks to help the mother with her business.

Maria looked after my 7 month old baby girl for few days, while our regular nanny was on holiday. She was amazing, very caring and always with positive attitude. Very reliable and willing to help with anything regarding my baby. Our little girl loved spending time with her and we would definitely recommend Maria to other people/families.
Maria takes care of our 1 and 4 year old - and they as well as we are very happy with her. She has a good connection with the children, is very reliable and safetyminded. She also helps with light housework in the house, and takes initiatives both on things to be done in the house and activities to do with the children. She is confident and do not loose her calm in unexpected or stressful situations. We would definetly have kept her if we were not moving abroad this summer!
