About Me
Hi, My name is Claire Vickerage. I am an OFSTED registered GOOD childminder living in Rotherham. I live with my husband and two daughters (aged 12 and 10)
I am close to Rotherham hospital, the town centre and lots of local primary and secondary schools.
I currently have space available for children 0-5 years and for wrap around care.
I offer flexible start and finish times and am able to accommodate shift workers.
I offer full time contracts, term time contracts, holiday contracts and temporary, short term contracts.
I am willing to do ad-hoc care - subject to availability (eg, when regular childcare fails / to cover appointments etc).
I am able to offer the Early Years Funding 15 for 2 year olds and both the 15 and 30 hour sessions for 3 and 4 year olds.
I offer a caring, home from home environment where your child has the opportunity for free play as well as adult led activities to encourage their individual development.
Whilst with me your child would do various activities throughout the week, including rhyme time at the local library, stay and plays, soft play centres, visits to the park, museums and school runs.
your child will get to participate in role play activities, arts and crafts, physical play, cooking, baking, local nature walks etc.
My Experience
I have worked within private day nurseries since 2000.
I have been a registered childminder since January 2014.
I have worked with many age groups from 4 weeks old up to 11 year olds.
My Qualifications
Childminder Pre-Registration course.
NVQ level 3 early years in education.
Child protection.
Safeguarding children level 3.
Paediatric first aid.
Food hygiene level 2.
Oral health.
Weaning.
