My Experience
Whilst my original childcare experiences stem from looking after my own 4 children, I have been childminding since 2002 and have cared for many children.
My ethos is to treat the children I care for as I would like someone to do for my children. My philosophy for how children learn in the early years is based on high quality play experiences; which is a child's fundamental right. I believe that play enables children to understand and make sense of the world around them: physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially; thus developing vital life skills, enabling children to develop into healthy, competent individuals. I am committed to building children's learning power, helping children to become confident, creative, motivated doers and thinkers, thus developing in children an enquiring mind and spirit.
I endeavor to offer children varied and stimulating high quality experiences, both indoor and out door in an environment that meets children’s individual needs for learning and development. These play experiences will offer open ended and enjoyable opportunities for children to explore, investigate, develop new skills and consolidate existing skills by practicing what they already know and try out new experiences; thus promoting positive self esteem. This includes:
• Open spaces – indoor and out door
• Outings
• Music
• Loose part resources
• Sensory play
• Messy play – this includes mud play
• Social experiences
• Imaginative Play
• Books
• Construction
• Role Play
The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework provides a structure and guidance for appropriate age and stage learning and development.

We have been using Rene for about 18 months now, my children have never been happier, they actually miss the family at weekends and when the little one feels unwell she always asks for them!
Over the years we have used many childcare providers from full time nursery to before and after school clubs but being with Rene and her wonderful family is by far the best option, it's like home from home! They have such wonderful family values which rub off on my girls and help to make them well rounded children, nothing I ask has ever been too much for them.
The girls eat a healthy diet of delicious home cooked food and we receive photographs weekly of the things they have been up to( which are always exciting and inventive things)
The family are never to busy to talk or discuss issues( not that we have ever had any with them)
If you are looking to place your child into a childcare setting then try to get a place here, your child will be loved and cared for, be made to feel that they belong in this safe and education enriched environment.
What's more I trust them implicitly, which I cannot say about any if my previous experiences.
This truely is the best childcare around by a very long shot.
