About Me
Fiona's Childcare Services was established in September 2010, I have been registered with Ofsted since 26th August 2009.
I started off early in my career as a Nursery Nurse, and gained a Diploma in Nursery Nursing (NNEB). I have now decided to move back into the Childcare Sector as I love providing a safe and stimulating environment for children, and watching them develop from birth to learning to walk, talk, write etc.
Rupert, is registered as my assistant, as he's around the home most afternoons.
I live in Maltby, with my husband Rupert, and my two sons, Bradley & Oliver.
I go to Jolly Tots Play groups at Colemans Centre in Maltby on most Wednesday's or Thursday's mornings we attend a playgroup at Sunbeams pre school in Maltby.
Other outings will be made available to your child, with sufficient notice, and will sometimes incur an additional fee.
I am a member of the Professional Association for Childcare & Early Years (PACEY) and a Member of Maltby Childminding Group, where I have the role as the secretary.
The schools that I service are Maltby Lilly Hall Accademy. I can offer free funding for 2, 3 & 4 year olds.
My Experience
I have over 16 years experience looking after children. I have worked in Private Day Nurseries, and have been a Nanny caring for children from 6 weeks to 5 years. I know all the anxiety's that parents and new parents go through leaving their child for the first time & going back to work.
I currently do supply work on a ad-hoc basis at a local pre-school, and work in partnership with them, sharing ideas and practices. I also work alongside members of the Maltby Childminding Group, providing cover for childminder's holidays.
My Qualifications
I am a member of PACEY (Professional Association for Childcare & Early Years) with whom the Public Liability Insurance Certificate is held. I’m also registered with ICO (independent commissionary office) I also ensure to keep up to date with the latest training and development courses

Fiona has a very friendly and welcoming home. She provides an abundance of interesting age and stage appropriate challenging facilities, all skillfully linked into the national EYFS child development sytem used by all schools and nurseries. Fiona has a lovely family unit with husband and two children, who all make for a very homely, yet structured facility. Fiona is very flexible and meets the needs going that extra mile, of each child and their families inidividually. Meal and snack times are a pleasure, as home cooking is a daily occurrance. Would recommend Fiona's Childcare Services to anyone.
