About Me

Hello families!

My name is Sammie (children like to call me nanny Sammie!).

I'm a hardworking, confident bubbly character.

From 2015-2017 i studied at the prestigious Chiltern College for Nannies, where I gained experience in setting routines, sleep training, child development, cooking nutritious meals, baby massage and yoga, swimming with children and many more!

My Experience

I have over 10years childcare experience from babysitting to au pair, to a nanny.

Nanny – Twin Boys

Details include:
• Sole care and shared care.
• Making bulk meals and freezing for weaning, to make life easier for mum.
• Sterilise bottles, make bottles and follow a strict routine that mum has set.
• Bathing, changing, and bed time.
• Formed an excellent bond with not only the twins but with parents too.
• Went on holiday with the family, whilst we stayed at the Grandfathers house I had sole responsibility including overnight care (with monitors).

• Driving him home to give him a nutritious meal, bath and bed.

• Some morning work if parents had to leave for work early, this is when I would give him breakfast and take him to nursery.

Duties include:
• Taking the two boys to their private school (about a 20 minute drive).
• Preparing nutritious lunches.
• Taking them and picking them up from after school activities.
• Having sole care in the school holidays, where I would plan each day and ensure a fun educational time for the boys. Including trips to the zoo, cinema, swimming, football in the park, library trips etc.
• After school I ensured both boys concentrated on their homework and assisted them if needed.
• Assisted on their literacy by promoting reading before I put them to bed and awaited parents to come back around 9pm.
Whilst I was a nanny for the 2 boys stated above, I also worked as mother’s help/nanny to a little 2 year old girl and year old boy. Mum needed help in the day for a few hours 3 times a week. This is when I would step in take the little 2 year old for long walks, park trips and adventures whilst mum could work on things at home.

Sammie was a great nanny to my two boys. She was always very puntual and showed a high devery gree of maturity in dealing with the children. She was very organised and also very playful and absolutley loved all the the things they were into. When they went out to the zoo, I wondered who had more fun her or the boys. We will miss her but she has gone on to Chilterton College and will no doubt make a great proffesional highly trained super nanny.
