My name is Jo Wright and I'm a Ofsted Registered Childminder. I live with my husband and my two children (My son was born in November 2009 and my daughter was born in June 2014
Ofsted graded me a Good at my last inspection 10 October 2019
MY SETTING -
My Childcare setting is my family home which is a four bedroom house with a secure, enclosed rear back garden. We have lot's of toys which vary for all age group children. I use downstairs for childminding which has a free flow access, leading out to the garden. Garden is clean and has play equipment for the children.
I provide drop off and collection from Zebedee Preschool and Hilltop School.
I attend a large number of regular local playgroups, sing-along, story time at local library and soft play centres.
My home is a smoke free environment

I have been childminding since November 2011
I am an open minded, reliable, loving, caring person and I want to be known to provide a home-from-home for your child(ren).
My aim is to provide a warm, caring, friendly setting for children to grow and develop safely, and to feel valued and respected. I aim to work with you to provide the best possible care for your child. To do this, I am open to feedback which will help me to develop my service. This can be done face to face or written. I will try my best to implement constructive feedback received. My service provides healthy snacks and encourages your child to choose healthy options.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
A key benefit of choosing a childminder is flexibility, I can provide full-time, part-time, Adhoc & babysitting childcare.
I am available from 7:30am – 5:00pm Tuesday to Thursday and Friday 730am to 430pm.
I DO NOT WORK ON MONDAY
I am also happy to discuss childcare outside of these hours on an individual basis.
£5:50/ per hour (MINIMUM OF 6 HOURS PER DAY)

Jo looked after both my girls from age 1 upwards. She provides a loving, caring environment with a variety of different types of play and plenty of time outside in the fresh air which I particularly liked. Jo is a great communicator so I always knew what the children were up to and we worked together to resolve any challenges or issues the girls' faced. My girls fell in love with Jo and that, as far as I'm concerned, is the most important indicator that the childcare provision was excellent. Jo was flexible and accommodating and has been incredibly supportive to my girls and is as a family while providing our childcare.i would highly recommmend Jo to anyone looking for an excellent childminder and would be very happy to talk to anyone considering working with Jo.

I wanted to share how pleased I was with Jo and her care of my little girl when I returned to work, Jo worked flexibly with me on my phased return as I returned 2 days for a number of weeks followed by 4 days after that, this worked well for my little girl settling in as well as my settling back into work.
Jo provides a happy fun environment with plenty of activities, she also provided an excellent range of foods and I am sure my daughter ate better with Jo than she ever does with me.
I'm sure you will be happy with your childcare arrangements if you choose Jo as your childminder, I found using a childminder preferable for me when leaving my little daughter on my return to work at a time when I didn't feel ready to leave her at nursery
