My Experience

I have been working in my current setting for nearly 15 years. I do love my job but feel it is time for a change. I have had experience working with children 0-11 years old, but have mainly worked with children 0-5

I worked as a manager of 0-3yr old rooms, a Nursery Nurse and Room leader in the 2 1/2- 4 years old room. As well as managing 3 after school clubs, a breakfast club and a holiday club. This is for children aged 4-11. I have experience of working with children how have additional needs- ranging from Autism to ADHD to Global development delay.

I have worked for 3 years as a sole charge nanny for 3 active boys, And have continued to work for them part time for a further two years. My duties including collection for schools/pre schools, taking to and collecting from after school/holiday activities, cooking meals,and entertaining the children both inside and outside of the house.

My Qualifications

I have a level 3 qualification in childcare and education, nvq health and social care, a current work based CRb check, up to date paediatric first aid certificate, up to date food hygiene certificate, up to date level 3 safeguarding children certificate. I recently started my foundation degree in early years, but due to current working hours I am looking at transferring my achieved credits and continuing my studying at the open university;

My Availability

i Am available weekends and evenings to any key workers needing childcare during these times
