About Me
I live in Yealmpton with my daughters 21 and 15. We have a very friendly dog, Boris.
We're a creative family with particular interests in art, craft & nature.
I enjoy being outdoors, walks, travel and spending time with friends.
My work ethos is to help children develop a strong sense of self, connection to the world and their surroundings . in today's busy society, there is less and less time to slow down, look up and notice what's around us. Children rush from school to numerous activities with little down time. It is my intention to help our young ones engage and connect with nature and each other and to learn slowly and steadily - cementing the foundations of development in an unhurried, non stressful environnent.
I run a gentle , nature based setting where children learn and gain confidence through play, walking in our beautiful village and open ended activities at their own pace.
I am currently studying towards the HYGGE accreditation .
My Experience
I have 10 years' experience in childminding and 21 years experience as a parent. I previously worked as a Dental Hygienist for 30 years and a Teaching Assistant. for 4 years.
I have been running an after school club for 7 years.

Paedeatric first aider
Safe-guarding
Level 2 & Level 3
Food Handling
started accreditation for HYGGE in the Early Years
My Availability
At present I have various day vacancies for children age 1- 4 years., Also available for school pick up from Yealmpton primary school and after school care.
I'm afraid I can't provide early mornings or school drop offs due to commitments at present.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
£6.00 per hour 0900 to 1500 . ( 1 to 4 yrs)
Until 1800 is sometimes available .
After school fees available upon request.
I am registered for Government funding, Tax Free Childcare and Workplace vouchers.
Due to long hours, I know longer offer babysitting.
