About Me
I am qualified in early years childcare and education and have worked and supported children and families for many years in various childcare settings.
I am child-centred, friendly, apporachable and nurturing. I enjoy exploring various ways to engage children in quality play and learning indoors, outdoors and within the community.
What I Offer:
Part-time, flexible childcare on an as-and-when basis
Emergency/back up childcare (where available) perhaps while someone is waiting to find permanent childcare or their main child carer is on holiday on is ill.
Cover for appointments
Part-time regular childcare may be considered
Parenting support (ideal for mums, dads, and carers needing an extra pair of hands, a chat or support to go somewhere)
Important Notes:
I do not provide before/after school only care
I do not offer school holidays-only childcare
I may consider occasional babysitting evenings and weekend childcare

Public liability insured
First Aid and Child Protection trained
Recieved various training on child protection
Previously registered with the Care Inspectorate (inspection details still available online)
Attended various courses on play, child development and early literacy and numberacy of the years

£15 per hour
Small petrol fee for travel over 15 miles outside Newburgh, Fife

My Experience
I have supported children in various early years settings and homes over the years. This has included nursery and primary schools, as a childminder and also as a nanny. I have volunteerd with Home Start and have supported families in their own homes. I have always built up good lasting relationships with families over the past 25 years. I am a parent of two teenage boys and hold qualifications in early years childcare and education and a degree in Community Education.

- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
£15 per hour, a small petrol fee may be added if outwith 15 miles of Newburgh Fife.
