My Summary

My Experience

We ONLY COLLECT AND DROP FROM LONGLEAZE PRIMARY SCHOOL, ROYAL WOOTTON BASSETT. The setting is set up so the children can make there own choices from a wide range of toys and where they play in as I have connection doors form the lounge to the dinning room and french doors from the lounge to the garden. I have a well equipped toy cupboard that the children can access with Adult help, 1 outside shed that is also just for the children and they can access it on there own. I have also lots of ride on toys, balls, push and pull toys, tents and much more.

We have good links with the local pre-schools, children's centre and schools. Within Royal Wootton Bassett we have lots of different amenities within the area and lots of open spaces and I can access them on a daily bases, they consist of toddler groups, parks, lake areas, fields, sports complex, library and just open areas, We also attend the local kids farmers group. (we are hands on with small animals and the farm animals) Most are within walking distance of the childminding setting. We do different things every day, we attend toddler groups, walks (sometimes we walk the small dog) to see the local wild life, sports field for open space and play different ball games or just run around.

We are a member of Childcare.co.uk and have the relevant public liability insurance. We have children in placement and they range form 3 months - 14yrs. We always consider the needs of all children and of the ones that I care for and how the age and ability of prospective children might affect the children that I all ready care for. We do not and will not discriminate against race, gender, language, learning ability or physical ability. We am happy to adapt my practice, resources or equipment to any child's needs where ever possible or practicable.
My hours of working are Monday 7-9am & 3-5.30pm - Tuesday -Thursday 7- 5.30pm Term time only.

I work with make every effort to work with other providers, We do have a good support net work of other childminders as we meet up every week term time, as we all run a group together at a local hall. We also get support from the local children's centre and have term meeting to make sure that we are all working as a team. I can provide snacks, I also offer water, juice, milk and fruit every day as a free choice to the children. I will make every effort to provide healthy foods and snacks that the children will like. I ask parents of to provide all food. Any routines established will be driven by children and will be flexible to allow for spontaneity. I have the hold house and garden registered expect for the main, and foster children's rooms.
Activities are planed around the child's interest and abilities, then that allows them to make safe errors, choices and decisions. Some examples of my activities cooking, baking, painting, gluing, sticking, water play, play dough, stories, music time, puzzles, small world toys, logo, role play, board games, TV, computer, outside play and Parks ETC.

My Qualifications

My highest Qualification is NVQ3, i also have first aid, EYFS, Food Hygiene, Child protection, anti bulling and many more. Training is always on going.

My Availability

WE ONLY COLLECT AND DROP FROM LONGLEAZE PRIMARY SCHOOL, ROYAL WOOTTON BASSETT Monday - Thursday 7am -5.30.

We only drop and collect from RWB Longleaze primary school Monday -Thursday am and pm, Friday am only.
