About Me
I am an enthusiastic professional who loves to be around young children. I became a childminder after being a teacher and having my first daughter . Being a mom made me realise how wonderful is to help young children to learn while they are playing, exploring, creating , being themselves.
I enjoy to help children to achieve what they set out to do. I encourage them to play, explore, being willing to have a go, to keep trying, to have their own ideas and choosing ways to do things.
My Experience
I have been a Spanish language teacher and tutor to adults and children for more than 15 years and I have been working as a childminder for more than ten years. I also run a Spanish children club called Bilingüitos Spanish Club.
I will have two vacancies from September 2025. I am working 4 days (not Thrusdays). I am also a mom of two children, one is 10 years old and the other 14 years old, attending Eliot Bank school and Sydenham school.
I am very close to the Horniman museum, the Horniman triangle playground, Forest Hill library and Baxter’s fields. I usually take the little ones to playgroups, baby/toddler groups, playgrounds like Crystal Palace park, Wells park, Mayor park. I also take the children to the Horniman museum on a regular basis as I am a member.
With me the children apart from developing both emotionally, socially and cognitively they learn Spanish as second language as I am a native Spanish speaker and I enjoy to encourage children in my care to speak Spanish.
My Qualifications
OFSTED Childminder qualified.
BA in Modern Languages
Specialist in Bilingual Education
First Aid Training.
My Availability
I have two vacancies for children under 5 from September 2025. I can do pick ups from Elliot Bank school.

My Fees
- Childminding from £9.50 per hour
I charge £8.50 per hour.
After school rate: £27 per session
Full day from 8am till 6pm or 9am to 5pm.

Yeny looks after both our 1 and 3 year old daughters. She gives such excellent care and they’re always so happy there. More than just being a relief to find a childminder who we felt comfortable leaving our daughters with, Yeny is so caring, organised and thoughtful and we know we are incredibly lucky that she had space for us.
She does lots of fun creative activities and takes them out to the park and to clubs. In addition to that and a huge huge benefit, our daughters speak Spanish very well and it is thanks to Yeny.
We recommend her very highly indeed and we will be sad not to see her when our daughters are at school.
