About Me
My name is Christine I work with my daughter Melissa who is Ofsted registered as my assistant. We have Vacancies at present (Estfeld school) also vacancies for the under five age range.
I offer children an exciting and homely setting with plenty of resources, for indoor and outdoor play, including:
Sand and water table, drawing and crafts, trampoline, scooters, balance boards, role play toys, play dough, musical instruments, ICT toys and educational games.
I also take the children on a variety of outings each week, including visits to the farm, Wildlife Park, nature reserve, children's centres, library and soft play.
As well as the house I have a double garage converted into a fun play room and a large enclosed garden with plenty of space for outdoor activities.
I have recently had my OFSTED inspection rated Good. I am able to receive funding for 2/3/4 year olds and have spaces for before and after school care for Estfeld School.
I hold a current DBS check, Level 3 Childcare qualification, first aid certificate, Safeguarding training, own car and driving licence and all relevant policies and procedures in place.

My Experience
I am Ofsted registered and I have been childminding for the past 27 years. I have helped out in schools on lots of occasions when my own children were there.
I also have experience of working with children with special needs in a school environment.

Various Childminding courses completed over the previous eighteen years.

We have two children, 3 and 18 months, who have been with Christine and Melissa for 6 months. Before moving them to childminding we had previously tried putting them both in to a local nursery, which hadn't been a success. The difference finding Christine and Melissa has made to our family is phenomenal. Both of our girls love going every morning. Our youngest often cries when she realises she isn't going to the childminders at the weekend and they both run in every morning, excited for the day. Christine and Melissa offer a homely environment, the house is dedicated to their business and there is more than you could ever imagine for the little ones to play with. They go on brilliant days out every week, teaching our girls lots, which we learn about every evening when they get home. They offer nutritional meals and are really accommodating to fussy eaters (our oldest particularly). Most importantly, you know that the children are well looked after and loved whilst they are there. Could not recommend more highly!
