My Experience
I worked initially as a teacher of 8-9 year olds for 3 years before moving into Residential then Field Social Work, eventually moving to working in Adoption after I returned to work part time when my family were young , 30 years ago. I then took early retirement 6 years ago and have worked with under fives and their families since then as a nanny, nursery worker and Children's Centre worker.
I have also parented 3 children, including twins, thus caring for 3 children under 3 at one time, which means I am comfortable and experienced with newborns including twins. I have also more recently cared for my three grandchildren currently aged 3, 5 and 6 years.
My Qualifications
Teaching certificate, Youth Worker qualification, Certificate of Qualification in Social work.
My Availability
Very flexible days and some evenings and weekends.
