About Me

I live with my husband and two children.
We live in a quiet cul de sac in Andover and are close to Vigo School & Winton School.
We have experience in caring for children of all ages through having our own family and childminding.
I was graded as good in my last Ofsted inspection.
I work with my husband, who is an approved/registered assistant and has been vetted by the Social Care Team and Ofsted.
We are members of pacey and childcare.co.uk and provide Early Years Education.
We are also registered for the government Tax Free childcare scheme and Childcare Vouchers.
I am registered to provide the funding offer, which means parents can claim government funding for some of the children’s time with me should they qualify.
We provide exciting and fun childcare; I strongly believe that children learn through play and I aim to provide stimulating activities that are age and stage appropriate and incorporate creative activities into daily play. I take the children on outings where possible to the park, Finkley Farm, toddler groups, indoor play areas, on walks or to the shops.
My setting has a secure enclosed rear garden with outdoor toys, and I use the whole ground floor for childminding and indoor activities (all amenities are on the ground floor).
We have a basic daily routine, but I do like to incorporate each child’s individual routines to help settle your child as quickly as possible.
We collect from Vigo Primary School only.
My Experience
I am an experienced childminder and have been a registered childminder since 1994.
My Qualifications
I have a Diploma in Home-Based Childcare (a level 3 qualification) and
I have studied with The Open University and have a Certificate in Early Years
(level 4 qualification).

Early Years SENCo (level 3 qualification)
I take part in regular training to further my professional development.
My Availability
We currently don't have any available spaces and don't anticipate having any spaces in the foreseeable future.
My working day starts at 7.00am and finishes at 5.30pm. I am flexible and willing to do my best to meet the needs of the parents and also the children in my care.
Please note that we do not offer a collection and drop off service to your home or Pre School.

My 8month old son is just about to start. From the moment i walked in i was welcomed. My son for the first time out of home sat a play with them and the toys and didnt cling to me. He didnt even cry when i left the room. Its a lovely family environment with lots on offer for all ages.
I am very happy to be leaving my son with them and after meeting many childminders i can safely say i wont be panicking now when i have to leave him in their care.
