Hello Parents!
My name is Sue, a long-term nanny happily working in the Harpenden area of Hertfordshire.
I currently have availability for additional work on select days of the week, in particular at weekends and occasional Fridays.
Having worked in Childcare for the last 20 years, I have have a wealth of experience of different family settings, as well as the invaluable experience of raining my own children.
I speak fluent Hungarian, and enjoy tasks that focus on learning and new skills, particularly those that are play-based. I also enjoy intellectual challenges, an early accounting qualification energizing my early interest in numbers and methods. I have baby care experience, and good historical knowledge of milestones and parenthood techniques, particularly in the pre-school years.
I love nature and enjoy physical activities such as walking and swimming. I also enjoy reading a good book! I am content with family pets, and very much enjoy the happiness that children bring to our world.
I would be happy to help if you feel you need a break, or would value my opinion on different obstacles that children sometimes present. I would of course be delighted to simply play along-side your little person, a dressing up box is no issue for me! Happy to batch-cook meals (child-free), support homework and extra-curricular activities.
I am also available for babysitting, a competent pair of hands available if needed, and recent emergency knowledge of first aid ready if needed. 20 years of driving experience, full UK licence.
