About Me
Hi I am Stacey-Maria, I am a Midwife and maternity nurse.
I have two boys whom I absolutely adore and at some point the majority of my clients have met.
My personality can be described as organised, bubbly, caring and empathetic. My ethos is that family are important and you should always do something kind without expecting anything in return.
In my day to day life I enjoy outdoor activities such as Hockey, Clay Pidgeon shooting, and Horse riding. My indoor activities include reading, swimming and going to the gym.
I’ve had those long and hard labours which has aspired me to be the practitioner I am today. Empathy goes a long way when you can be the listener to those that need it.
My Experience
Qualified and experienced Midwife and Maternity Nurse.
Worked as a Maternity Nurse for over 10 years. Previously worked as a nanny for over 13 years.
Experience of caring for women during the postnatal period recovering from normal deliveries right through to more complex cases. Able to assist with breast feeding and bottle, infant cares- dressing, bathing, changing. Able to create routines and also assist in improving parent knowledge by teaching safe practice. I am able to work alone or with parents.
I do nursery duties only.
I have worked days, nights and 24 hours all over the country and do travel with my clients.
The bulk of my experience has been with twin babies and single infant babies.
