About Me
My name is Naomi and I am married and a mother to 2 girls, my eldest daughter Leanne is an Ofsted Registered Assistant with level 3 in childcare to work with me and my other daughter goes to south Devon college. I was born in Holland and can speak Dutch and I love cooking and reading. I live in windmill area of paignton, close to woods, and have 2 dogs, cocker spaniel dad Buddy and sprocker daughter Cassie. I do a school run to and from Oldway Primary School. I have a trusted friendly, warm and safe homely childcare environment for children to play and learn within the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, in a dedicated playroom full of resources and a safe enclosed garden with outdoor toys and equipment. I have adopted a red panda at paignton zoo for the children to learn about and visit.
My Experience
Rated Good Ofsted Registered childminder with 24 years experience and qualifications and we are both CRB checked and both have Paediatric First Aid. I am out and about a lot weather permitting, as I have a zoo pass, and visit museum, dinosaur world, go to forest school (which I have done level 1 in) ) and belong to Forest School Association taking the children out, occombe farm, beach, woods , playground, bowling, pet shop, crazy golf and feed the squirrels. At home I have a playroom with lots of toys and crafts, and we do baking, painting, playing, puzzles, music time, nursery rhymes, food tasting and games using different themes for the children to learn. I will keep a folder of what the children are doing for you to keep when your child leaves and moves on.

Barret is a wonderful childminder. Very professional. When walking into her home you are greeted with the lovely smell of home baking which the children have assisted with. My daughter settled in really well. It's such a comfort to come back from work and know that my daughter has had such a lovely time! There is a great schedule of activities, a wealth of varied crafts, baking, fun outings to name a few. Barret exceeded my expectations of childminding, I can't speak highly enough. Very highly recommend. Thank you.
