Judit has been a fantastic nanny for our daughter, who adores her. She has been taking care of her on a full-time basis for the past two years, since my daughter was 5.5 months old. The only reason we unfortunately have to let her go is because of a change in our personal circumstances.
Judit is very energetic, and has been pro-active in looking for activities and classes in the area and arranging playdates with other nannies and kids. Since she has been with us, she has arranged a varied, comprehensive weekly schedule for our daughter, adapting it to activities suitable for her age. She has also listened to our specific requests, for example finding and taking our daughter to French “classes”.
Judit is very dedicated and engaged, making sure to provide a stimulating environment. She communicates and interacts with our daughter a lot (for example through reading lots of books together), and encourages her to learn new things. As my daughter has grown older, Judit made a lot of effort to expose her to different types of activities at home as well, such as putting together puzzles, playing with play-doh, drawing, painting and arts & crafts. We have noticed that this type of one-on-one attention has been very beneficial for our daughter’s development.
In general, Judit has managed our daughter’s developmental phases very well. She is very patient, but consequential and has provided a lot of stability in our daughter’s life. She has again taken on board our specific requests, for example carrying forward our daily routine when my daughter was young and adapting it suitably as she grew older.
Judit has also been extraordinarily helpful around the house, taking care of everything relating to our daughter (such as laundry and cooking, including cooking portions to use over the weekend), as well as helping out with the occasional errand for us. She has helped weaning our daughter with great recipes tailored to her age. Her cooking is varied and healthy, enforcing good eating habits (we now have a little girl very fond of vegetables).
Judit is very flexible and reliable. I can’t remember a single time she was late or sick, and she has been very accommodating towards us. Given we both work long, and sometimes unpredictable, hours and I have to travel frequently, this has been a lifesaver. I didn’t think returning back to two full-time jobs and juggling them with a little one at home would go so seamlessly and be (relatively) effortless. This has in great part been due to us being able to depend on Judit.
In summary, we could not have wished for better care for our daughter for the past two years.
